    Hi Rob
    Thankyou for your lovely and well structured videos. I have one question on isometric strokes, they seem a bit jaggy, l am sure I watched one of your videos where you showed how to fix it. When you can, can you point me to that video please?
    Thankyou
    John

      @@johnkaradimas8403 Thank you so much John, I really appreciate the compliment 😊
      As for the strokes being "a bit jaggy" lol I think I know exactly what you are referring to. If I am assuming correctly.
      When the strokes of objects don't line up, although the objects/paths do, this is to do with the stroke style. Within the Fill & Stroke menu, select the Style tab. From there, you will see headings like Width, Dashes, Marker etc.
      Next to Join, there are 3 types of joining - Bevel, Round & Mitre. Select Round. Depending on the version of Inkscape, you may have a value next to it, this relates to the size of the join.
      Finally the Cap heading should also set to Round to make it cohesive but the cap only relates to the end of an open stroke path.
      Hope that all made sense to you but if not, do not hesitate to ask. Alternatively, you can always reach out via email.

      Thank you very much and you are more than welcome my friend. The 1.4 update will be dropping soon including...you guessed it! Another grid mode. So, I will be mentioning it in this week's upcoming video. Have fun with it, to this day, using grids is one of my favorite things to do in Inkscape 😁

    how export guides to pdf?

    • @ButtonPressGraphics
      @ButtonPressGraphics  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That all depends on what you want to export my friend. Guides/Grids are used exactly like their namesake - as guides. Therefore, they do not show up on the exported image.
      There are ways to export the grid/guide lines along with the image if that is what you mean?
      As for PDF, you can export as a PDF file from the drop down menu within the Export menu. However, you cannot render a multi-page PDF so you will have to render the separate pages then merge them using a 3rd party app like PDFSam.
      Hope this helps

      @@ButtonPressGraphics I want to export the guide lines (rulers) combined with the image on the page to pdf format

    • @ButtonPressGraphics
      @ButtonPressGraphics  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@alexandr-spb In that case, there are two options available to you.
      1, You can use the Bezier Pen tool to create the lines yourself and then layer the image on top. Snapping (in the top right corner) will help with this but because you have to create the lines yourself, it can be tedious.
      or
      2, Go to Extensions > Render > Grids. Choose the grid you need and set the parameters to what you would like. This will give you a Object Grid that you can snap to like any other but will also be rendered when you export the file
