We did. Just for a second. Who do you think Jack was telling tales to in the finale? Go back, watch it again, and see if there maybe isn't a different interpretation of the heavily projected "boyish" quality Jack's newest recruit had.
Now this, I believe, sums up what Anne Bonny was really like in her life. AC Black Flag got most of the historical facts about her right, but really diluted her viciousness. And by diluted, I mean you never see her fight in game.
Always wondered, what truly happened, in real life, to Anne Bonny in the end? After her mysterious release from death row. And to the child she gave birth to in prison.
Yeah she didn't give birth in prison! The English told her to leave because the captain had respect in the way she fought back and felt sorry for her because she was pregnant! He said he can't kill a child in the belly of a mother! I just love Anne, that's a woman!
I've found out in the past week that the real Anne Bonny's mother was called Mary Brennan, my next door neighbour is a Brennan. And he has family in Ireland, long shot but there could be a connection, I also found out that the mother of the actor who plays her has the surname Downes, same as my Mum's side of the family.
Wow, well done Claudia7s....amazing work and now i have a new artist in my life as this music is amazing but you have brilliantly edited this into your clips. You have editing skills and vision, thats for sure! Thanks.
Is there any scene in Black Sails where Anne says her famous last word to Jack? The quote "Had you fought like a man, you need not have been hang'd like a dog"
No, the show basically ends with her and Jack meeting Mary Read. I was really sad that there was no real Mary/Anne content in the show - I really looked forward to it, and of course the famous end of Anne's story
@@anagramm9242 I always thought they could have made an Treasure Island movie that follows the end of the serie, that would have been cool since there isn't any Treasure Island movie woth less than 30 years I think the last one was in the 90's (Not counting Disney's Treasure Planet)
Okay, I enjoyed Black Sails too. But I'm afraid a lot of people now think that it has any factual basis. Yes, the characters' names are from history, and some of the stuff in the plot is sort-of, kind-of, almost true, but most of Black Sails is pure fabrication. This has been the unfortunate history of the Golden Age of Piracy, which has been corrupted almost from the very beginning by fiction writers making up stuff, taking bits of fact and spinning yarns from it. This started with the 'Captain Charles Johnson's A History of Pirates (most of which has been shown to be made up, the factual bits are taken from earlier newspaper accounts, themselves of doubtful accuracy). Apparently no one understands the difference between fiction and history. Look, I love a good pirate yarn, I'm even guilty of publishing one myself, but please, folks, learn to separate a good story from historical truth. The number of things Black Sails gets wrong is so long I couldn't possibly list them all. Enjoy the story, just like you might enjoy Star Wars, just know that there's no Luke Skywalker in a galaxy far, far away and there was no Captain Flint, or Long John Silver; their ships were never that large, they wouldn't have even had enough crew to get one under way; prostitutes were probably not nearly as good looking as Hollywood starlets; Blackbeard did not die at the hands of Woodes Rogers.; pirates were not the liberators of slaves, in fact, they sold captured slaves just like any other cargo they stole...It's just a story, folks! If you really want to know about these people and their times, read a history book for the love of God!
Shit, why would you use that quote in the description? I spent that whole final season dreading the moment that it'd happen, and I remember breathing the biggest sigh of relief ever when it didn't.
Plus, Long John Silver wasn't even a real pirate. He's just another lie from the set of lies we conveniently refer to as "stories." Why would you even bother to film a thing that isn't as close to a reenactment as is possible? Because you have a fundamental disconnect with the concept of truth, clearly. Did you guys know that there's not even a real General Hospital? They made it all up to trick us.
I just made a Jack rackham tribute its on my channel it would mean alot if you could check it out and tell me what you think!!!!! Great vid by the way!! Vids like yours Inspired me!!!!
Annie Bonnie was nothing like this. When she was dressed like a pirate she would look exactly like a man, the same with Mary Red, we have to bear in mind that this is the early XVIII century.
Pretty sure black sails never intended to portray accurate visual representations of eighteenth century pirates. If they did, no one in the show would be as attractive - especially the pirates themselves, and there certainly wouldn't be anyone with boob jobs either! It's a fun show that values aesthetics, I wouldn't expect a history lesson from it
Dogs are more loving loyal and human than the vast majority of humans. Anyone that enjoys causing pain, terror , and death to a dog is a thing.. with no ability for empathy. I'd rather die like a loving, loyal dog.. than a parasitic cruel human..I hate the quote.

Absolutely nothing in any historical records to suggest that Anne Bonny was a lesbian or had any attraction to women. She did however, get around with several pirate captains including Black Beard and Benjamin Hornigold according to historical scholars
@@anagramm9242 History can be an unreliable narrator. Just saying I'll hold onto my reserve. Seems to me that whether they were or weren't, the way that they challenged what moors they did suggests it'd be nearly anomalous for their detractors to have skipped right past that low-hanging fruit.
