That’s the thing with humans. It’s natural for us humans to only help ourselves and not really care for others, but we live in a society where there is at least one person who does care and help others out of the kindness of their heart.
Now cops ARE expected to help anyone and everyone in need, no matter what race/age/gender/nationality. Because that’s something they agree to do once they put on the badge. If they don’t, then it breaks their oath and ultimately betray the badge.

This happened to a friend of mine when he was in middle school. He and his brother came home from school and found that his dad had moved out and locked the doors so they couldn’t even get into the house and get their things. The mom had already abandoned them all years before that. They stayed in his older brother’s car for a little bit until his brother got his own place and then he bounced around on couches until a friend’s mom took him in as her own. Listening to him speak at her funeral several years back was almost more than I could take. She may not have given birth to him but she was his mom and she took him in when no one else wanted him.

The Christian church is apostate and against the 10 commandments. They teach the opposite of what the Messiah did, preaching faith alone, OSAS, pretrib rapture nonsense, and they're promoting pagan idolatry like Christmas and Easter. Google the origins of these holidays, it's all ancient Roman and Babylonian god worship that the Lord hates, found nowhere in the Bible. If you want to be saved then you need to actually start obeying the instruction of God, which means not being a partaker of this stuff and keeping the 10 commandments. The church follows the Roman Empire's 321 AD Sunday law instead of the actual Saturday Sabbath commandment, which is the same problem Christ had with the Pharisees
      Mark 7:6-7
      King James Version
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
We're supposed to follow the Messiah in truth. Flee from the lies of the church and repent. We can't break the Sabbath, eat abominations like pork and shellfish, or be a partaker of worldly idolatry like praying to wood statues or crosses or christmas and easter. Yeshua, the Messiah, taught you how to be great in the kingdom:
      Matthew 5:19
      King James Version
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Loving your neighbor means to rebuke sinners so they repent:
      Leviticus 19:17-18
      King James Version
17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
But the hippie Jesus church prefers tolerance which is why they're going to be destroyed.

I work with displaced children (foster care, DCS/CPS, JJ, etc) and this is a story I’ve heard far too often… it’s absolutely heartbreaking what some of these kids have had to go through. I remember this one child in particular had been abandoned by their parents- literally just woke up one day and they were gone. There was severe abuse and neglect before the abandonment as well. One day she was upset and I asked what was wrong and if there was anything I could do to help. We talked and I asked if she wanted a hug. She told me no one had ever asked her that before. I hugged her and she held on for so long. She needed that hug more than words can describe.
Ever since, I always make sure to never let go first. A lot of the workers don’t feel comfortable giving hugs etc to the kids and that’s understandable, they have their reasons. But I won’t ever deny a child a hug.

They left a note letting him know that the rent was paid up until the end of the month and that there was enough food in pantry and freezer to last him till then. He couch surfed at classmates homes for several months before one of the kid's parents heard the story and let him live in their garage till he graduated.

The cop arrived and his trigger happy partner was ready to take the guy but the cop told him to stand down and actually was able to calm the guy down and actually sat down with the guy and even they both sat down on the porch to talk. He helped out so many people and even spent his off duty time coaching kids. Unfortunately he was killed during a traffic stop by a drunk driver. I had a friend in Highschool, he was like 14 or 15 I think. We went to church camp for a week and when we got back he called his mom to tell her we were at the church and he was ready for pickup. She told him that she had decided to move to Texas. Took all his brothers (none of which had the same dad) and just left him. If I remember right it was for a man she met online. Took all his stuff too. All he had was the stuff he took to camp with him. He moved into a friend’s house and lived with them for the rest of high-school. Eventually two of his like 5 brothers moved back and he reconnected with them. But the whole thing was insane.
When he got the call the whole youth group was flabbergasted. We couldn’t believe it. He was a tough kid so he didn’t cry or anything but it’s maybe the only time I ever saw him really genuinely hurt. I offered to let him stay with us but that wasn’t going to be a permanent solution and the friend he ended up living with had a better situation to take a new kid into the house so he just went with him. He never really did get over it. But he also found out how to make it without her. We’re not closer now, but that was probably 15 or so years ago. He’s a supervisor at his job and owns his own house. So he figured it out.

This happened to an ex of mine when I was a teen. He spent the weekend with my family. When my mom drove him home, we discovered an empty house. Only thing in it was his clothes hanging in the closet. She skipped to a totally different state without a hint of notice. Both of my parents were floored and hurt that a parent could do that to their child, especially one who worked and did community things-not even a bad kid.

He was shocked they were moving and asked when they were going to tell him…they said they hadn’t planned on it and we’re just going to leave…and that’s what they did. Left him to raise himself as a young teen.

This upsets me. I've mentored so many young men. I had two farms and I'd often end up with ones Noone cared about. Makes me cry to this day. I and my siblings were so lucky we had the best parents. When you have a boy crying because his step dad beat him and a mother that didn't care, just beyond my thinking. I done my best to instill good character and a shoulder. Now I'm old and I have my own army of young men with their own families. I may not always have much to give, but was always the best thing I done. Some of their stories were heartbreaking. A child is a blessing no matter how they come.

My biological father was an abuser. Hit me my whole life. When I got too big, he started hitting my siblings. Learned later he was doing worse than hitting them. I've got scars all over my body from the cane he used. Everytime I stood up to him, the beatings got worse. One day, he swung it at my mother, I got between them, caught it, wrenched it from his hands and beat him down with it. I told him he could hit me all he wanted, but if he ever laid another hand or cane on them, I'd bury him beneath the rock wall in the back yard where we lived. He's in prison now, been there for two years. I only recently realized just how fucked up I am because of him. I'm in therapy, and it helps. I've been the love of my life off and on for 6 years, now we have a baby girl on the way. Life gets better, sometimes. That message goes to all of you out there who've been through the same, less, or worse than I have. Life isn't fair. But it can get better, your stronger than anything they'll throw at you. Their cowards, hurting those they think are weaker. I know it's difficult, feels damn near impossible, but standing up to them, will make them back off. Your stronger, you have people in your corner. Your not alone. You are seen.
This is the first time I have ever typed this out. I'm sorry for the long comment, and doubt you'll read it all the way. But if you do, know your loved, and their opinions mean so very little. He was constantly in trouble with my coworkers, constantly sitting in the director's office, and finally one day during an outburst - I noticed he was crying. So I just hugged him. (I was younger, I should've asked first) but I just felt compelled that this kid needed a damn hug, man. He broke down to me. A school psychologist found one of our students on the street. Darling kid, behavior, problem, true, but still, he has so much. They could not locate his parents, so she had applied to adopt him and over the period of time that was necessary. It was at least a couple of years, she was able to adopt him. He was still quite a handful, but I know he appreciated her in the end. They ended up moving to the state her family had immigrated two years prior. Amazing story, amazing woman. When I loved overseas, I met a kid who had been to MIT, he also had been left at 16 on the street literally. Just like this kid, he came home from school and there was no one there. He managed to do it on his own. I don’t know how, but he did graduate from MIT, and was very successful and what he did. Never looked back, married well, had his own kids, great dad!

I remember as a child an officer found me and my two baby sisters in the back seat of a car in the middle of the night at a gas station. The clerk had reported that the car had been there a while before anyone noticed we were in there. The officer that came to the scene also stayed with me and my sisters at large building ( I don't remember exactly) for the entire night. I don't remember his name just his face and I turned 31 tomorrow. Thank you sir for what you did that day. May God bless your hands.

I dated someone who happens to be African American as well. The same thing happened to him, snd the crazy thing was it was his aunt and uncle. He spent the day outside by himself. Foster care didn’t do him well either. He was so independent because he needed to be. I was so impressed by the way he had to figure everything out himself.
I pray for and feel so much for kids who go through this. Also wish the people were held more accountable.

Im not sure if English is your second language but I would recommend either omitting race or not saying "the American American". Leave out "the", with how the English language works, it can sound objectifying. Some people can take offense to that and see it as rude or subtly racist. If you don't care, then leave it, i guess.
