I think it's going to go to S*** and them some, for the townsfolk. Victor will disappear for three days and come back like a creepy Jesus. Some from colony house will resort to cannibalism (maybe season finale). Tabitha - paintings spoiler from the trailer could suggest Boyds wife was right and she needs to go back in full terminator mode to save them all.
I think those wood figures are the ones who moved Boyd and Sarah on season one but were unable to move them since it was a wood cabin instead of a tent, I theorize that they will be heavily connected to the lady in the kimono

And when Kenny comes back to town he'll find out her mother is *likely* dead or horribly injured, there's no more food for everyone and the monsters are smart, luring Boyd into a trap becuase of what he said ('you don't break me')

If he would have stopped and thought like Boyd said, he would’ve realized what he said when him and Kenny were in the woods not protecting their families(that they shouldn’t have gone out there.) Thankfully Fatima was there to save Jim’s kids, but Kenny wasn’t there to protect his mom and I’m sure he’s gonna garner the guilt his mom felt about his dead’s death

That was annoying but i suppose she couldnt think reasonably because of her stress about her monster fetus. Tabathas actions also annoyed me for some reason. She didnt even check the date to see if time moves different inside the pocket dimension.

So my theory is that they let Boyd live for the same reason victor is the way he is and survived so long, they even tell us with "we won't kill you, we want you broken". What if the monsters can't hurt anyone with a vital role in completing the "quest" so they emotionally break everyone instead to ensure they can't finish. I also think that's why they tried to have sarah try to Ethan, i think Ethan can assume victors role in the quest and be able to finish it. Let me know if I'm crazy.
Am I the only one that's questioning their stupidity, Going to get the farm Animals, It was blatantly a trap, when they could have left them they would have just been roaming somewhere,Where would they go, I'll hope the writers don't start making the characters make stupid decisions. It would turn me off to the show.
They had to get the animals that was the only source of food. Plus the monsters would have killed the other animals if they didn’t come out you see they killed the cow.
I understand that they get food from the crops they grow, but mind you, for 2 whole season I’ve never seen any barn animals, neither have I heard anyone talking about them. And always wondered where are they getting fresh water and juice from. Then all of a sudden in season there are barn animals ????
@@ExoticSpartain this episode they clearly said the soil was poisoned and that is why the crops were all rotten. They have shown the animals in other seasons. Boyd clearly stated in season 1 that one day he was in the woods and found them roaming. They have mentioned the animals several times actually.
My husband and I binged both seasons for the past few weeks and was so sad it ended! We had no idea season 3 was dropping just a few days later! Lol great timing!
I’ve been starting to believe that Victor is (perhaps unconsciously) the mastermind behind everything. There are too many signs; he predicts events before they happen, he’s been there longer than anyone, his supply of canned pears is practically endless, and he has never faced real danger. What if his family escaped from him and not from the village? If the monsters know everyone’s names, why does he know everyone’s name? Another thing that makes me think this world is a representation of his mind is the electrical wires going into the wall with nothing behind them; he is fundamentally a child, and like a child, he knows the wires go into the wall but doesn’t know what’s behind it. I’m not sure it’s only about him, though; he’s definitely connected to everything. Maybe to avoid being alone, he created an imaginary friend, the boy in white, and the people who end up there are drawn to his unconscious thoughts of repopulating a village? What do you think? P.S. The father’s expression when he sees the lunchbox is one of terror, not amazement.
@@otunlamoses5853 maybe Victor's dad gets to a point where he over reacts on Tabitha, alerting the police to where she is. The hospital would already have alerted them as well, as seen in episode 1 of season 3
This is the part that pisses me off. Why are they not acting like "humans", even after seeing that they can actually kill these things? Humans would definitely invade their sleeping den and lay waste to every one of them and one problem solved.
But how would they kill them? The bullets dipped in the bile from the monster they killed didn't work, and they don't know of another way to harm the monsters other than when Boyd transferred his blood to Smiley.
I believe the main theme of this show is good vs evil, light vs dark. The Boy in white reminds me of Jacob from Lost. The main villain or entity that we have yet to be introduced to controls the monsters, most likely that red demon we saw on the cave drawings. This entity can also take the form of dead people , similar to the smoke monster on Lost

I think the pictures in the basement are from victors sister. Victor found his mums body but not his sisters so she probably made it out and got home. Probably drawing what she saw in the town and everyone thinks she's crazy so she might be in a mental hospital somewhere.
While I like this series, its really starting to remind me of lost. Full of intriguing ideas and neat concepts, but they dont follow up on plot points. They ask a whole lot of questions without ever giving answers, to the questions they are asking. The writing is tending to get a bit lazy to me. Watch this all turn out to be a dream!
What I think is, these all are imagination of Victor. Somehow, his imagination as a child became true, and those paintings in the basement are made by Victor, when he was a child! Like, victor is the only one, who spent most of his life there in the town and he is still alive! He knows, where the faraway three, where it is headed but still he never left the town!

Though I normally avoid watching horror thrillers, I loved the first season of _From_ and was optimistic for S2. But then by the finale, I lost interest because the showrunners barely answered any of the burning questions from S1, but instead doubled down on posing more questions by introducing more immenent risks to the townspeople, as if they haven't been traumatized enough. It was incredibly frustrating! So suffice it to say, I will not be watching S3, but I will still watch your breakdowns, analyses, and predictions to find out if they stick the landing in the end. It was his dead sister I believe didn’t his mother disappear likely escaped the same way tabitha did since she was on the exact same journey to find the kids in the lighthouse and that’s probably going to lead into how viktors father has so many artifacts representing fromville in his basement because I don’t think his father was ever trapped there
Victor said he found his mother's body near the bottle tree and his sister was nowhere to be found. Most likely, Eloise was the one that managed to escape.
I saw this outcome in a comic book ....I really hope its not true. ⚠️SPOILER⚠️ How is anything in the From town possible? Its all a TV show. The characters realize that they exist for our entertainment. Nothing they experienced in their world is truly real. ((Please dont let this be true! This would be the worst cop out!!!))
Time should be the same because remember the bus that came in and that doctor girls girlfriend was on there and there was no issue of what time had passed so yeah time is the same at that point anyways as crazy as all this shit seems i always assumed it was aliens like an experiment type thing
Not the strongest ep by any stretch… Jim’s decision-making in particular (sleeping in this unknown cabin w/o a second thought; not having it occur to him til hours later that he shouldn’t risk orphaning Julie n Ethan) were maddening, and it just seemed like a half-baked way for the writers to get Kenny out of town for the nite thus leaving his mother more vulnerable. That said… strongest episode ending so far imo, it was heartbreaking and horrifying. When Mrs. Chen responded to Boyd’s urging to head for safety, she said no - “we do it together” - and tried guiding the cow from behind with Boyd leading, Strong callback to the touching scene in ep 203 where Liu empathized with the Matthews losing their home and agreed to help Tabitha replace their clothes: “Mothers help together.” 🥹😥
Why the fuck is no one at the barn keeping watch on the animals or at least one amulet inside 😭😭😭 It's so frustrating. Kenny is gonna break this season i think 😭😭😭

There’s a connection when boyd was talking to ethan about alma his friend goat. Ethan said “can you let alma go first, so that she can’t see her friends die” that is the connection when boyd told the monsters to kill him but the monsters denied so that boyd can see his friends die. It’s a torture and this shit is something else. OMG
And the conversation between Boyd and Kenny where he talked about how he doesn't want the kids to lose both of his parents and later on his ma gets killed.
I’m still surprised the survivors haven’t tried weapons like makeshift swords on the monsters since they seem to cut easy. They should have just made armor out the the scrap metal and went to battle and chopped them up.

The days from "Fromville" are the same as the regular world. Father Kathari mentions 3 days prior how Reggie tried to kill Boyd. At the same time that's when Tabitha went to the lighthouse and when she awoke, the Doctor told her that her body was found by hikers 3 days ago

They learnt nothing from Smiley’s autopsy, what was all the Lake of Tears stuff in season 1, the trees move, ok so what? The symbols, ghoulish kids who speak gibberish, Elgin’s weird waterlady nightmares, the music monster….they never answer anything but just add more mysteries.

Nobody directly mentions the time difference between the two worlds, however the nurse who is there when Tabitha wakes up tells her that they found her in the woods 3 days ago. Later in the episode when the priest is talking to Boyd he mentions that he was attacked 3 days ago, Boyd was attacked at the same time that Tabitha went to the lighthouse so that would heavily imply that time is moving at the same pace inside and outside of fromville

Everybody has weird things happening to them individually, but yet nobody shares their experiences with nobody else and when they do, they act like they’re crazy and nobody believes them which is really odd because look where they’re at if somebody told me they saw weird things how could you not believe them?
That's kind of my biggest problem with the show, but then the inverse will happen sometimes and arguably make things worse. Like, the worst part for me happened in season 2 when Boyd gets the worms and nobody sees it until a moment of convenience arises and then suddenly people can see them. Just weak writing for an otherwise very interesting show.
Weird stuff happens in real life all the time, and for many things that we actually can't explain and no one does research into these weird/unexplainable things/ppl/etc. because people thinks its pointless and will call you crazy, its extremely accurate of how human society has been since human society has started, and all these people come from human society, where even when there is weird stuff going on, your weird that you experience will still be considered crazy instead . also in our world almost everyone results to using Occam's razor to answer complex situations/things for unexplainable things, so they try to fit in. I'm not saying im above this level of thinking, but next time you ever see something weird, go and start telling people, and look at how they look at you. Have a great day/night

Maybe this detail isn’t important but when the priest asked Tabitha about her child’s name, he refers to the baby as a male when he asked “what was his name.” Yet, no mention of the gender happened prior. Could be a stretch but you never know 🤷♂️
The only thing I hate about the show was boyd's son man. He only fckin flirts and never really had an impact to the story whatsoever. So why are they highlighting them couple too much when the fckin mystery solving was unfolding. It's so annoying when after so much death the next scene is this fckin guy acting like he's in disney thinking about marriage and shit. I mean even the bald guy on the bus as an asshole but still useful in some ways and honestly have better realistic reaction to what's happening given that he has attitude it's still plausible. Boyd's son on the other hand just fckin roam around the god damn colony house and had to be saved by his gf when shit got bad. I can't believe that guy was raised by military veterans such as his parents. Kenny has a father with a damn mental difficulties and he portayed to be a better capable person setting aside even his personal vendettas when and do what's right. Honestly just don't give that fckin boyd's son a screen time.

The drowned woman is Fatima's friend Very. Fatima mentioned her to Elgin at the Brundels and told him "some people become obsessed with this place". She's definitely speaking of Vera in the past tense, so I'm guessing Very drowned and Fatima inherited all her kimonos- which she wears in honor of her friend.
It's supposed to pick up right where season 2 left off which works for everyone of the grown actors but you can really see the year of aging in the little boy who plays Ethan he looks way older than he did in season 2
Ahhh, that's a very interesting idea. Maybe they could learn to harness the Far Away Trees by simply writing down an address/name/description of a place and walking into the tree with that note in your hand.
If that was the case then she would’ve gone straight to Victor’s house/hometown and not have to be thrown out the tower to get there. I’m just wondering why Victor isn’t directing Jim to the bottles faraway tree where Taby went because apparently only that tree leads to the ‘tower with the children’, whereas the other faraway trees can take you anywhere.

Those demon type things move, kind of slow like there are no hurry. Not sure why everybody rushes into a house. I would try different things. You could just run around them almost like zombies and not be harmed. I would keep trying different aspects of trying to hurt them to see what works. Everybody gives up too easy, but it is a good show. I like it. Victor has been there since he was a kid and he looks like he’s in his 60s so he should know a lot more than what he’s telling if he knows about weather changes and trees moving he should be almost an expert on this place at this point.

I think it's going to go to S*** and them some, for the townsfolk. Victor will disappear for three days and come back like a creepy Jesus. Some from colony house will resort to cannibalism (maybe season finale). Tabitha - paintings spoiler from the trailer could suggest Boyds wife was right and she needs to go back in full terminator mode to save them all.
I think those wood figures are the ones who moved Boyd and Sarah on season one but were unable to move them since it was a wood cabin instead of a tent, I theorize that they will be heavily connected to the lady in the kimono

ok so heres some opions i have on some of the mysteries.
Fae is scottish for "from". the entity causeing all of this is a fae or fairy like folk creature.
I think the stones are something like a wardstone in scottish folklore as well.
Fae often kidnap children and even replace them with their own, akin to changlings.
I think this entity has been around a long time, possibly made a deal with humans in the past and was either slighted or was the trickster type that turned on the humans it made a deal with. theres definetly some kidnaping of children involved and being used in some ritual that sustains it or gives it power.
I think the symbol is indictive or a rune that deals with anchoring a point to many other places in the world, a kind of weave that lets it trap people from all over the world. hence the random point of origins.

Kenny volunteered though. Another highlight to the type of person he is. Even when hating Sara last season when it came down to it he couldn’t hurt her or just watch her kill herself
And when Kenny comes back to town he'll find out her mother is *likely* dead or horribly injured, there's no more food for everyone and the monsters are smart, luring Boyd into a trap becuase of what he said ('you don't break me')

If he would have stopped and thought like Boyd said, he would’ve realized what he said when him and Kenny were in the woods not protecting their families(that they shouldn’t have gone out there.) Thankfully Fatima was there to save Jim’s kids, but Kenny wasn’t there to protect his mom and I’m sure he’s gonna garner the guilt his mom felt about his dead’s death
I don't like Jim personally, but Kenny coming along with him was all Kenny's idea. No one put a gun to his head.

So my theory is that they let Boyd live for the same reason victor is the way he is and survived so long, they even tell us with "we won't kill you, we want you broken". What if the monsters can't hurt anyone with a vital role in completing the "quest" so they emotionally break everyone instead to ensure they can't finish. I also think that's why they tried to have sarah try to Ethan, i think Ethan can assume victors role in the quest and be able to finish it.

They had to get the animals that was the only source of food. Plus the monsters would have killed the other animals if they didn’t come out you see they killed the cow.
I understand that they get food from the crops they grow, but mind you, for 2 whole season I’ve never seen any barn animals, neither have I heard anyone talking about them. And always wondered where are they getting fresh water and juice from. Then all of a sudden in season there are barn animals ????
@@ExoticSpartain this episode they clearly said the soil was poisoned and that is why the crops were all rotten. They have shown the animals in other seasons. Boyd clearly stated in season 1 that one day he was in the woods and found them roaming. They have mentioned the animals several times actually.

I’ve been starting to believe that Victor is (perhaps unconsciously) the mastermind behind everything. There are too many signs; he predicts events before they happen, he’s been there longer than anyone, his supply of canned pears is practically endless, and he has never faced real danger.
What if his family escaped from him and not from the village? If the monsters know everyone’s names, why does he know everyone’s name?
Another thing that makes me think this world is a representation of his mind is the electrical wires going into the wall with nothing behind them; he is fundamentally a child, and like a child, he knows the wires go into the wall but doesn’t know what’s behind it.
I’m not sure it’s only about him, though; he’s definitely connected to everything. Maybe to avoid being alone, he created an imaginary friend, the boy in white, and the people who end up there are drawn to his unconscious thoughts of repopulating a village?

I believe the main theme of this show is good vs evil, light vs dark. The Boy in white reminds me of Jacob from Lost. The main villain or entity that we have yet to be introduced to controls the monsters, most likely that red demon we saw on the cave drawings. This entity can also take the form of dead people , similar to the smoke monster on Lost

I think the pictures in the basement are from victors sister. Victor found his mums body but not his sisters so she probably made it out and got home. Probably drawing what she saw in the town and everyone thinks she's crazy so she might be in a mental hospital somewhere.

Unbelievable episode. I still can't believe the ending.
While I like this series, its really starting to remind me of lost. Full of intriguing ideas and neat concepts, but they dont follow up on plot points. They ask a whole lot of questions without ever giving answers, to the questions they are asking. The writing is tending to get a bit lazy to me. Watch this all turn out to be a dream!
I do not trust Tilly either. She is the only resident who seems to enjoy being stranded there and she does not seem to be afraid of the monsters
What I think is, these all are imagination of Victor.
Somehow, his imagination as a child became true, and those paintings in the basement are made by Victor, when he was a child!
Like, victor is the only one, who spent most of his life there in the town and he is still alive!
He knows, where the faraway three, where it is headed but still he never left the town!

Though I normally avoid watching horror thrillers, I loved the first season of _From_ and was optimistic for S2. But then by the finale, I lost interest because the showrunners barely answered any of the burning questions from S1, but instead doubled down on posing more questions by introducing more immenent risks to the townspeople, as if they haven't been traumatized enough. It was incredibly frustrating!
So suffice it to say, I will not be watching S3, but I will still watch your breakdowns, analyses, and predictions to find out if they stick the landing in the end. Thanks for these breakdowns tho. I appreciate it.

They showing more calculating and torturous side to them. If remember in season 2 they left woman with rebar through her head. That nearly sent Christie into a emotional breakdown.
Town: Who's listening to their every word. Monster at end of the episode tells Boyd so you think this town won't break you. Boyd said that earlier when dealing with Randal
Food: Seems gonna be main theme. I keep imagining there's gonna be food TRUCK gonna roll up any day. They must have had food shortages before to plant crops and being here 50 plus years. How long was Victor eating peaches for? How did tinned peaches got to town?

Not the strongest ep by any stretch… Jim’s decision-making in particular (sleeping in this unknown cabin w/o a second thought; not having it occur to him til hours later that he shouldn’t risk orphaning Julie n Ethan) were maddening, and it just seemed like a half-baked way for the writers to get Kenny out of town for the nite thus leaving his mother more vulnerable. That said… strongest episode ending so far imo, it was heartbreaking and horrifying. When Mrs. Chen responded to Boyd’s urging to head for safety, she said no - “we do it together” - and tried guiding the cow from behind with Boyd leading, Strong callback to the touching scene in ep 203 where Liu empathized with the Matthews losing their home and agreed to help Tabitha replace their clothes: “Mothers help together.” 🥹😥

There’s a connection when boyd was talking to ethan about alma his friend goat. Ethan said “can you let alma go first, so that she can’t see her friends die” that is the connection when boyd told the monsters to kill him but the monsters denied so that boyd can see his friends die. It’s a torture and this shit is something else. OMG
And the conversation between Boyd and Kenny where he talked about how he doesn't want the kids to lose both of his parents and later on his ma gets killed.

The days from "Fromville" are the same as the regular world. Father Kathari mentions 3 days prior how Reggie tried to kill Boyd. At the same time that's when Tabitha went to the lighthouse and when she awoke, the Doctor told her that her body was found by hikers 3 days ago

Who else feels like Jade? Spiralling out with no answers in sight. Just more questions. Has there been any payoff yet? They learnt nothing from Smiley’s autopsy, what was all the Lake of Tears stuff in season 1, the trees move, ok so what? The symbols, ghoulish kids who speak gibberish, Elgin’s weird waterlady nightmares, the music monster….they never answer anything but just add more mysteries.
Imagine I'd we were getting answers that were not satisfactory... I believe that we are getting answers. We just need to watch carefully
It's only season 3. Victor has been here for decades and he's just starting to remember his repressed memories. Taitha just visited Victor's dad. His sister could still be alive.
I mean, once they start getting some real answers the show is probably gonna start working itself out, hopefully that will start this season so our characters can gain some control of the situation. I sure hope they dont explain it TOO hard though, or I hope its not some dream/afterlife/experiment going on here, thatd be so boring

ok so heres some opions i have on some of the mysteries.
Fae is scottish for "from". the entity causeing all of this is a fae or fairy like folk creature.
I think the stones are something like a wardstone in scottish folklore as well.
Fae often kidnap children and even replace them with their own, akin to changlings.
I think this entity has been around a long time, possibly made a deal with humans in the past and was either slighted or was the trickster type that turned on the humans it made a deal with. theres definetly some kidnaping of children involved and being used in some ritual that sustains it or gives it power.
I think the symbol is indictive or a rune that deals with anchoring a point to many other places in the world, a kind of weave that lets it trap people from all over the world. hence the random point of origins.
evil towns people are most like things akin to changlings i mentioned earlier. used to catch people offguard at first to torture them easily.
This show needs to give us answers this season enough with the mysterious bushit

Time doesn't flow differently between Fromville and the real world, Marielle mentions that Kristie had been missing for months by the time she arrived in the town which matches up with Kristie's experience. Victor got there in the 1970's and is in his late 50's, that aligns perfectly. They mention that the town has been in a state of perpetual summer for as long as anyone (Victor) can remember. The changing season isn't reflective of time passing, rather the environment changing and evolving to the townspeople
But victor's dad looks pretty young to me

Nobody directly mentions the time difference between the two worlds, however the nurse who is there when Tabitha wakes up tells her that they found her in the woods 3 days ago. Later in the episode when the priest is talking to Boyd he mentions that he was attacked 3 days ago, Boyd was attacked at the same time that Tabitha went to the lighthouse so that would heavily imply that time is moving at the same pace inside and outside of fromville
But why does Victor look the same age or even older than his dad?

Everybody has weird things happening to them individually, but yet nobody shares their experiences with nobody else and when they do, they act like they’re crazy and nobody believes them which is really odd because look where they’re at if somebody told me they saw weird things how could you not believe them?
That's kind of my biggest problem with the show, but then the inverse will happen sometimes and arguably make things worse. Like, the worst part for me happened in season 2 when Boyd gets the worms and nobody sees it until a moment of convenience arises and then suddenly people can see them. Just weak writing for an otherwise very interesting show.
Weird stuff happens in real life all the time, and for many things that we actually can't explain and no one does research into these weird/unexplainable things/ppl/etc. because people thinks its pointless and will call you crazy, its extremely accurate of how human society has been since human society has started, and all these people come from human society, where even when there is weird stuff going on, your weird that you experience will still be considered crazy instead .
also in our world almost everyone results to using Occam's razor to answer complex situations/things for unexplainable things, so they try to fit in. I'm not saying im above this level of thinking, but next time you ever see something weird, go and start telling people, and look at how they look at you. Have a great day/night

Maybe this detail isn’t important but when the priest asked Tabitha about her child’s name, he refers to the baby as a male when he asked “what was his name.” Yet, no mention of the gender happened prior. Could be a stretch but you never know 🤷♂️

The only thing I hate about the show was boyd's son man. He only fckin flirts and never really had an impact to the story whatsoever. So why are they highlighting them couple too much when the fckin mystery solving was unfolding. It's so annoying when after so much death the next scene is this fckin guy acting like he's in disney thinking about marriage and shit. I mean even the bald guy on the bus as an asshole but still useful in some ways and honestly have better realistic reaction to what's happening given that he has attitude it's still plausible. Boyd's son on the other hand just fckin roam around the god damn colony house and had to be saved by his gf when shit got bad. I can't believe that guy was raised by military veterans such as his parents. Kenny has a father with a damn mental difficulties and he portayed to be a better capable person setting aside even his personal vendettas when and do what's right. Honestly just don't give that fckin boyd's son a screen time.

The drowned woman is Fatima's friend Very. Fatima mentioned her to Elgin at the Brundels and told him "some people become obsessed with this place".
She's definitely speaking of Vera in the past tense, so I'm guessing Very drowned and Fatima inherited all her kimonos- which she wears in honor of her friend.

It's supposed to pick up right where season 2 left off which works for everyone of the grown actors but you can really see the year of aging in the little boy who plays Ethan he looks way older than he did in season 2
I feel like they need to stop keeping secrets from the rest of the town. They might have got their ish together if they all had the information.
The address being in the lunch box is what transported here to victors hometown
Ahhh, that's a very interesting idea. Maybe they could learn to harness the Far Away Trees by simply writing down an address/name/description of a place and walking into the tree with that note in your hand.

Those demon type things move, kind of slow like there are no hurry. Not sure why everybody rushes into a house. I would try different things. You could just run around them almost like zombies and not be harmed. I would keep trying different aspects of trying to hurt them to see what works. Everybody gives up too easy, but it is a good show. I like it. Victor has been there since he was a kid and he looks like he’s in his 60s so he should know a lot more than what he’s telling if he knows about weather changes and trees moving he should be almost an expert on this place at this point.
I would assume Victor is in his 50s as there’s no way his father is any older than early to mid 70s
