I don't know the issue with my electronic lock but I've had it! I had to get the handle in some very very; specific location "around" 6 O'clock, but if I'm off by some degree, the electronic "bolt" would not disengage. I've had at least 10 times I couldn't get it right and had to wait 20 minutes before a retry. This video is great so thank you so much for posting!!!! Ordering the dial lock today!
Thank you for the kind words! So glad I was able to help! That's the reason I started this channel. And comments like yours are what drive me to continue. So thank you!
Pretty good install, but the window for the last number should be between 90 and 10 (check instructions), also usually if it's a brand new lock, it's set to L-50, right till open, should be noted in instructions. once the combination is set you should test it with the door open at least 3 + times, perfectly, and if any issues, start over from the beginning. (use new numbers at the CHANGE mark). Once it's closed, it better work. I purchased 3 of the same model, there pretty good. have a great day
Strangely enough I know someone whose gun safe has an S&G combo lock and its factory set last number was 20. So why is this problem if the S&G factory set it this way on his Champion safe?
It’s a nice swap tutorial, but a group 2 lock is no more secure than the electronic lock you took out. S&G electronic locks can’t be de-backdoored so they’re a no-go. Securam Prologic electronic locks have an option to disable their back door, but you have to know where to find it in the menus.
It's not too hard, especially if you're a little mechanically inclined. I ordered mine from mbausa.com. I actually called them and talked with them to verify I was getting the right parts, and the guy I talked to was VERY helpful. I talked with them twice before I even placed my order, and their customer service was top-notch. I highly recommend them.

Thank you very much, my dial started making a buzzing noise and killing batteries. This is a great video, exactly what I need.
You are very welcome, glad I was able to help!

Sorry I'm just seeing this comment and responding. I'm honestly not sure what the problem would be, I'm just going off of what the instructions said.

Did he say cut that shaft down? 🤭
He did.
Mine was switched from new. Apparently, I am almost alone in not trusting the keypad.
I may just be old school but I think the dial looks better and I definitely trust the dial more.
I watched this type of video before, it doesn't look hard. But, where to buy the lock that actually fits your safe. Don't want to get it from liberty

Got mine from ebay S&G 6700 series. cost me $130.00
I didn't think about ebay. Definitely a good source though.
