    You two are so adorable and entertaining. I’m binge watching your channel. I’m so grateful you are sharing your knowledge (and you make it funny and look so easy). I loved the black wall, a very creative touch that brings more dimension to a small space👍🏼 You guys deserve 100k subscribers or your own cable show🏆🎬✨

    You’re back! The cabinets and wall look great. I did my cabinets pretty much the same way you did, though I gave up on those plus nuts and put mine up with 2 1/2” screws right into the shiplap and layers of framing that were bolted to the van frame. I felt the same way you did- thought for sure the whole wall would come tumbling down but it’s still holding steady.
    I had an inverter installed last week (the one and only task I farmed out) and now I can charge my Bluetti while I drive from the van battery if solar isn’t enough. As soon as I work out the kinks of being connected to internet all the time, I can work on the road. Can’t wait!
    So good to see you guys back. I can’t wait to see more. Great job!

      Hi Trish, So glad to hear from you. The Plus Nuts are a royal pain if you ask me.....but they are pretty amazing in holding power. Cabinet screws are really good as well. I see many van builders out there that just use screws and it seems to hold rock solid. Building a van is a lesson in patience and learning to trust your instinct, I guess. I am constantly thinking through tasks trying to figure out what I am about to mess up. But it does seem to work out in the end :)

      @@perrellapartyof5 one more question Marc. What are the exact hinges you are using for your upper cabinets? I have framed cabinets and I can’t find a hinge that doesn’t leave about a 1” gap at the top. You are my last hope before I have to trim off 1” from the bottom of the doors, or cut out the frame. Because I can’t find full overlay framed hinges. Only frameless.

      @@trishwhitehouse6536 Hi Trish, Tania actually just bought some hinges based on recommendations from Sara and Alex James. But I have not had the chance to try them out yet. If you can give me till the weekend, I can see how they work. We have face frames and shaker doors....is your setup the same?

      @@marctania2349 yes. Exactly the same. I think I still have your email address- I’ll send you pictures. Thanks- this one has me stumped and we’re smacking our heads on the 1” that hangs down past the edge now. 😩🤣

    Hey guys what gauge wire did you use for your puck lights? Also Ty for your channel. So detailed! ❤

    • @marctania2349
      @marctania2349  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We used 14 gauge....which is probably overkill. The wire on the actual puck lights is so tiny....but 14 is easy to work with and could easily handle the load
