I had an a13 for nearly a year - dropped it in water twice and the screen finally started to give out. Decided to upgrade to the a14. The outside bumper feels much more slick and sturdy. Camera is much better, screen is much better - overall the device is great for the quality.
@@Debateblefootballi have an samsung galaxy a14, and in my opinion, its great for basic things, but it cant really handle high graphics games, as it will just lag or crash or freeze, the sane goes for gifs and adds, both adds in certain apps and gifs will lag the phone alot, which might crash the UI, also it does not have a great camera, but besides that, the phone is great for basic tasks and for low graphics games
I think I'm gonna have something like this as my new phone, I'm tired of buying expensive phones with features I never fully utilise or even care about.

Had this phone a few weeks ago and mine came with dual sim and micro SD card slot. Great phone and better graphics than the Galaxy A12 that I had previous.

I received my phone yesterday from FedEx and I too only have the two sided C charge cord. But I have another 10 ft C charger with a charge box so I'm good with that.
I got this for my 15yo daughter to replace a very old Moto G Power she'd smashed after 3 years or so. She just watches videos, snapchat, etc. She only uses the main camera as far as I know. She's very happy with it. I'm happy for it's 4 years of software upgrades. All in all for it's current $200 USA price it's a great deal. Motorola has switched to 720p low resolution displays on all it's lower end models which made me switch to Samsung for budget phones for my teens. $200 unlocked phone running on $15/mo Mint Sim is defiantly the way to go for teens.
This is what I am looking to do for myself. Not a big phone person. I prefer to use my laptop for gaming and more. I was hoping this price would drop a bit but I hate my phone carrier and my husband has Mint and loves it.
I've had the A03s for almost a year, and was shocked at how well it worked. One UI CORE is awesome and trims most of the bloatware. The A13 didn't have Core, so it's great that the 14 does-it's probably the fastest phone running the super-efficient Core OS right now.
This phone and the A13 5G before it are honestly amazing phones for the price. I still have the A13 5G and plan on using it until the phone dies. I got it through Straight talk for $130 about 6 months ago and I absolutely love it. Nice to see they upgraded the 720p display with a 1080p one, the 720p screen is enough and its a bummer to hear that the external speaker was downgraded slightly, but it's awesome to see Samsung offering such good devices at super low price brackets. I just want a phone that runs apps well and feels smooth day to day, I don't need an amazing camera or a bunch of bells and whistles, and if I break it, it's not the end of the world. Best phone ever for me honestly.

I have a S23 but need to upgrade my business phone S8+(which just started acting up after over 6 years)! Looking for an inexpensive reliable option and appreciate your thorough review.
I also recommend checking out the A05s, or if you can extend the window of time until the upgrade, Galaxy A15 may be released just in time. Either way, can’t go wrong with the A14 for the price range.
I will be buying another one of these because of the dual SIM cards - I got 4 years of travel and hard use out of my old one until it was dropped too many times. I live between Hong Kong and the Philippines, plus I also used other SIM cards for IDD for my family in Canada.
Just got mine today. nice in-depth review. Processor varies per country mine has the exynos 850 and processing is fast. I upgraded my 8 year old phone to this and it was great.. I also got a free wall charger and sd card from the samsung store here in the philippines.

My iPhone 5s has served me well but it's almost 10 years old, and while I can still make phone calls perfectly fine, important apps have stopped working/being supported on my version of IOS. I don't use my phone much so I'm looking for the cheapest options. Thinking about getting the iPhone SE for 556,- euros or the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G for 229,- euros. And for those who are wondering why I would go for the iPhone SE when I'm looking for the cheapest option, I'm taking into account that the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G will be supported for 4+ years while the iPhone SE will probably be supported for 8+ years. So these are basically the two cheapest options if you want a "normal" phone for IOS or Android respectively as far as I know.
so i finally purchased the a14 today. i must say it actually feels pretty nice to hold. its HUGE for small hands but its alr. everythings been working smoothly so far. the camera quality is not my fav especially the video but its fine for a this price range. overall im happy

I don't like 3 cameras at all, I want 2 cameras like the old Samsung Galaxy a30 but the camera Depth and Macro not used often But I want 2 cameras 50MP+8MP (Ultrawide) I think these 2 cameras is enough for my use I will wait for new A15 5G than A14 5G but I like A145G But I don't like the 3 rear cameras, but the A145G has a 90Hz screen and uses a CPU Dimensity 700 Ram4/Rom128, a 5,000 mAh battery. It's A145G, it's a good phone for 200USD.
I just purchased an A14 on 27 July. I have been using a A10e for 4 years now. I don't think the A14 speaker could be any worse. I paid $119.00 usd through my prepaid carrier.
I just got this phone a few days ago . Not happy about how the battery drains when on TH-cam. I am giving it a try and will come back and update later . I have no games on here yet

I have the A14 for two months and have found it troublesome. The on off switch is unreliable . It wont turn off or you cannot unlock it and need to shutdown to reset the software . TikTok trying to take over the phone with adds until deleted . My old Samsung 07 was more reliable but now not supported by some banking apps I use.
Thanks! Yes, that’s correct the battery is not easily user removable. It can be replaced at a repair shop & you can attempt it yourself if you are daring.
Hey, this has a removable back and you can get to the battery pretty well if you know what your doing, just needs a few tools to get the back off, after that it's quite simple to replace, again, if you know what your doing, the battery has a pull tab to release it,then it's a matter for disconnecting it and connecting a new battery
Ok, I had my off and plugged in all night and it only charged up to 35% in 8hrs..... I have C USC-C Adapaters. Everything we have is for USB. I do not want to buy C adapaters for everything. I bought fast charging USB to USB-C charging cables, but obviously that didn't do much. Very disappointed that this isn't universal for everything we already have. I wish they had included the adapter in the box! Although that doesn't help with charging in our cars.......

Here in New Zealand I brought a14 as an upgrade from 5 year old S9+. Got 5g version with 128 gig of memory. Very good phone with good cameras and good display. My only disappointment is the fact Samsung don't include the secure folder on a14. My a14 came with a duel sim and micro SD card slot
I went with the moto g 2023 4g phone. It was so cheap. Got it for $70 brand new. First couple days it was bad but after a few updates, seems to be doing better.
I've now watched 2 youtube videos regarding this phone. I bought mine here in Texas at an AT&T store, disappointed with the service. They just wanted to sell the phone. I am 78 and replaced my flip phone. This is all new to me, I bought it so I could scan OCR codes. For the majority of people that's nothing. Tomorrow I will be going back for the 3rd time in 4 days.

On the 4g version of this phone it actually has an ultra wide I believe. Crazy for the cheaper version.

In India A14 5G came with Exynos 1330 (5NM)processor. very capable soc. Even A16 runs on same processor.

Ok, I had my off and plugged in all night and it only charged up to 35% in 8hrs..... I have C USC-C Adapaters. Everything we have is for USB. I do not want to buy C adapaters for everything. I bought fast charging USB to USB-C charging cables, but obviously that didn't do much. Very disappointed that this isn't universal for everything we already have. I wish they had included the adapter in the box! Although that doesn't help with charging in our cars.......

You can add wireless charging to any phone with the tiny little adapter pads that are between 5 and 15 dollars on amazing and at Walmart

Here in New Zealand I brought a14 as an upgrade from 5 year old S9+. Got 5g version with 128 gig of memory. Very good phone with good cameras and good display. My only disappointment is the fact Samsung don't include the secure folder on a14. My a14 came with a duel sim and micro SD card slot
The s9+ is still going to be heaps better

I went with the moto g 2023 4g phone. It was so cheap. Got it for $70 brand new. First couple days it was bad but after a few updates, seems to be doing better.
I've now watched 2 youtube videos regarding this phone. I bought mine here in Texas at an AT&T store, disappointed with the service. They just wanted to sell the phone. I am 78 and replaced my flip phone. This is all new to me, I bought it so I could scan OCR codes. For the majority of people that's nothing. Tomorrow I will be going back for the 3rd time in 4 days.
