Great video. Keep them coming. I have the 430 (like them very much) after watching your video it helped me decide to order the pw and uw wedge in 440. As you know the pw in 430 is 41 loft and this really messed up my wedges and more importantly how many woods I could carry. Now with the 440 pw and uw I can carry one more wood and still have good gaping.
Great Andrew - you are one of a few who understood that when reviewing new product it must be reviewed against an old model or a different company model! Otherwise the whole process is pointless!
Nice comparison. I'm looking at these 2 clubs to replace my Ping Eye 2s. Yes i know they are old but are fantastic. I do like the way the G430s look at address. The great part is Ping has retro lofts which i'm a huge fan of.
Hi, Thanks for the comments.I think you would see some huge gains in performance if you decided to upgrade to the Ping G430 irons. As always my best advice is get fitted at a trusted Ping Fitting location. Best regards Andrew
I've tried to replace my eye2s multiple times and always go back lol. So much money lost. I do like the G430s at address and plan to get fitted soon in retro lofts. I'll miss the spin but enjoy the distance gain.
Thanks for the comparison btw these 2 Pings. I’m still gaming my Ping G’s & looking to upgrade. Went to local golf store and looking down at address both are almost identical. The back is where the 440’s improved. Thinking I’m going 430’s and use $200 towards a new fairway metal.
Interesting bit on the lie angle. Less right to left on the 440 for you. Nobody else has mentioned it. Personally, I’m more of a fan of combo sets to maintain ball speed gains than lengthening shafts at the top end but that’s just me. Always informative young man. Thanks for the video!
What fun is that though? I mean most golfers peak about 3 years into playing and shoot those scores the rest of their life no matter what equipment they use. But buying equipment is a fun part of the game for a lot of folks. It's rarely a 'great investment'. :)
I've got 730s with Mamiya recoil f3 shafts and struggling with them. I was fitted by the Ping fitter into these and am wondering about whether the shaft is a little stiffer than the standard regular shafts. So sometimes getting fitted is questionable Andrew although in general I'd have to agree.
One big improvement for me on the looks is losing that notch at the angle on the head. It’s always out me off PIngs. Now if we see the usual drop in price due to 440 launching the 430 become more of a bargain

Whichever model you choose they are both great irons, make sure you go through the fitting process at a certified fitting location.
thanks andrew, was going to stick with my 430's anyway (like to get 4-5 years out of my irons), but nice to have it confirmed
Glad to help.
All the best

This was great .
Best wishes Andrew,I’m not playing golf at the moment, but just wanted to say hello again and hope you’re well
Hi Gary good to hear from you. Hopefully you will be back on the course soon.
Excellent. Honest. Love it. I’m thinking of changing so may well just look at the G430😊👍
Hi James, cant go wrong with the G430 make sure you get a custom fitting.
Morning Andrew
Many thanks for your message. Good advice. 😊
A very honest review as always. I would suggest it would benefit people spending a fraction of the cost of a new set of irons on lessons.

Very true Edwin, thanks for watching.

Looks are certainly better. The G430 Iron may get repositioned in price at some time in the future. But does not always happen.
ah that big breakfast, just been measured for a full bag of 440’s , struggled with them out on the course especially the fairway woods.
Sometimes it takes a few rounds to get used to a new set. I am sure they will start to perform soon.
