My roof wont bend back to being straight (where you were talking about your pinch points if that makes sense like on yours it easily went back into the holes mine wont its still inches away
Hmmm. There is no cable. It's all metal hinges... at least on the back. If you mean on the front, then yes, there could be a cable or track that is broken that does not allow it to lock and unlock with the hex wrench. I have not done it but I know there are vids out there showing you how to take apart the lock at the front. I never had this problem with mine. Good luck.
Mine wont close all the way...I get everything till u get to the Allen key to tighten it...mine just keeps turning and doesnt get tight..the allen key eventually gets too tight to turn and the top is still loose
