Thank you so much, sincerely, this will and surely has helped so many! I've loved astrology from a very young age of 15, where it was more in depth by then, but I've grown up with astrology from even younger, possibly more so at 7 to 9. Am a young adult today. It's definitely been a fond practice to continue interpreting birth charts, learning rapidly, understanding, and understanding not only others but myself included, through self-teaching & learning through professional astrologers like yourself. It's appreciated.
Ocean's Phoenix: The 8th house was usually related to death in ancient astrology and in modern astrology the 8th house house is often associated with sexuality as well. So yes, many modern modern western astrologers would associate the 8th house with sexuality. At some future point in time I will make videos on the meanings of the houses and also include my own views on this.

The way I see it, the first six houses are "of the earth" (Body/Environment/People) as the last six houses are "of the heavens" (Goals/Dreams/Consciousness). It seems pretty obvious too considering the lower half of the chart is where the planets would be below the horizon (or ground) whereas the upper half is free and in the sky. In this sense, I could easily see the second house being justified as property and possessions as those are earthly concepts. Also, the fact that 4th used to represent "Father" but was replaced with "Mother" feels very interesting. 4 in numerology is an incredibly "stable" number. It is sort of a pillar, per say. Even numbers are feminine, masculine numbers are odd, this makes 3 the most basic masculine number and 4 the most basic feminine number. I love this relationship because when you combine 3 and 4 multiplicatively you receive 12; creating the potential of a person.
@@birke571 If you use a star map from NASA there are points of the earth's rotation where, through the observer's perspective, there are planets that are on the "opposite" side of the sky which would put them "below the horizon". For example, Mars could be visible over Australia in a manner that would make it impossible to see from USA because from the USA's outward perspective, Mars is "beneath the ground".

And if you follow musical principals ( natural law ) you will find that the astrology we are using is only half correct or less.. If you want to contact me to see this frame work then do so.. I'm not really new to astrology but I have always loved science and space and the planets since I studied astronomy in highschool like over 10 years ago. I'm a born Leo born July 25th,1986 at 6:01pm. I want to learn what my planets and houses mean for me. and what I need to learn in life.
Keep in mind that astronomy is a science that everyone accepts as important and valid. Astrology is a controversial subject. I'm just starting out. Been reading and watching other videos. Was looking for a course for free. Then maybe I can get a degree later. I'm 51. How long does this take to learn? I read it takes years. Astrology is an unregulated field. Unlike professions like teaching, nursing, etc., there are no clear requirements to be an astrologer. Some people feel that they are proficient and professional after learning some basics, and some people do not feel proficient or professional after many years of study. There seems to be little consistency about what it means to be ready to be a professional astrology, so I don't think there is a clear way to answer your question. There are different systems of astrology, such as: evolutionary, Hellenistic, Vibrational, Vedic etc. and there are comprehensive training programs for each of these systems. One reasonable approach is to feel out what system of astrology you are most interested in after you study some fundamentals and then enroll in a program that is designed to train people to reach what the instructor considers to be a professional level of competency in the system of astrology that they practice.
I'm curious about the moon trine mars aspect with relation to athletes. After you mentioned it and said that it's common in their charts, I checked my daughter's, who enjoys healthy competition in sports and academics. She neither gloats nor sulks. Cam you, or someone expand on this aspect for me?
Ok so I'm really confused about the houses. For instance, if you look at this one gleewood.org/seeking/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/astro_w2at_07_dolores_umbridge_hp.68936.87691.gif at that link.. it shows the signs in a different rotation and the houses are numbered differently.... Do the houses rotate, or the chart rotate for each birthday?
+Lucid Dream Character The houses and zodiac signs are always counter-clockwise. The first house is always on the left side. The zodiac sign on the left side is different for different people. I hope that helps.
+E-TYME In western natal astrology houses are almost always counted from the Ascendant. In Vedic astrology and in horary astrology houses are sometimes counted from some other point in the chart.
Vedic astrology is a very different system of astrology from modern western astrology. One difference is that the sidereal zodiac is used by most Vedic astrologers. I cannot summarize these differences briefly. I think that a comparison of western astrology and Vedic astrology is a good topic for me to make another video about. I think I can summarize some of the major differences in about a half hour.
What are your thoughts on the degree of the rising sign? Example Capricorn at 24 degrees. Technically a cap, but close to the end, do you feel that individual may pick up Aquarius traits? Also have 2 planet's at 29 degrees Sag (Neptune and Jupiter) in my 11th, with a couple other planets (stellium)
My opinion about this is that the sign extends right up to 29 deg 59 min and 59 sec and if there is a transition it is only about 1 second or a few seconds in width. (Note: I am saying seconds of arc, which is much less than the usual way that we express planetary positions to within 1 minute of arc accuracy.) I base this on cases of many clients and famous people. One prominent example is Donald Trump who exhibits all of the qualities we expect from Leo rising and very little of Virgo rising and he has late 29 degrees of Leo rising. Now, his birth time could be wrong, but I predicted that he would win the nomination for President by the Republican party before the primary elections began based on this Ascendant position. I have seen many other examples that support my sense of this, but I do not have not done any controlled research studies on this and other astrologers may have different opinions that are well supported and it is a matter of opinion until we have more controlled studies to decide this.

I have seen many other examples that support my sense of this, but I do not have not done any controlled research studies on this and other astrologers may have different opinions that are well supported and it is a matter of opinion until we have more controlled studies to decide this.
