Love that Retrofest line! Yellow gear, I always think of the blue and black gear! One strap down (hurt) against Bret Hart! Talk about the excellence of execution, it takes 2 to execute and it was "perfect"! Hmm 🤔.
I consider blue singlet Mr. Perfect to be the most perfect figure in the entire Hasbro line--no pun intended, but pun embraced. With the singlet V, the wrist tape, and the Mr. P on the boots..."absolutely perfect".
I remember getting the first Jakks classic release. He quickly won the Intercontinenal Title in my figure fed

I do the same with the Retrofest Mr Perfect, I’ve put him on my nWo shelf with the vest on. It’s ideal for that era of Curt Hennig.

Great list! Curt Hennig is in my top 2 all time in ring favourites alongside Bret Hart. I best remember him in the blue singlet. My list:

cool list. I really really want that Retrofest Mr. Perfect. I love the packaging and it would look great next to my RF Macho Man and Ric Flair. I would love to see announcer Mr. Prefect as an Elite. Specifically, his look from Survivor Series 95 where he was wearing a suit with his name in sequins on the back of the jacket. All he would need is a mic and he'd be good.
It’s a big shame about the scale of the Mattel’s Perfects. I know that they fixed it with the Orange one but then went back to the Swagger build for the RetroFest figure. Just way too tall. A Ultimate Edition would be amazing in yellow.

I grew up watching curt hennig when he was in WCW but as I've gotten older and gone back and watched his older matches especially with Bret Hart and Roddy Piper, curt is one of my top 5 favorite wrestlers of all time
I think his most iconic gear is that electric blue / yellow gear 👍🏻

And there definitely needs to be a Legends Perfect that has a chase. So easy to do. Blue on black then yellow on blue as the chase.

Mr. Perfect was a very entertaining athlete. When he first came to the WWF, I thought he was going to win the WWF World title. At least he won the Intercontinental title twice. I still wonder why LJN didn't make a figure of him before they ended the line.

I really feel like we're missing a primary black singlet Hennig from WCW with either blue, orange, or white on the back.
My respect for Mr.Perfect as a performer grew when i heard that in his last title match for the ic belt against Bret Hart. before becoming an announcer his back was injured and he still bumped his butt off making Bret look even better. Fortunately Mr.Perfect didn't stay retired i wish he had a better run whether he was in wwf or wcw. Now here's my top Perfect figures 5.Wwe series 37 4.Classics with orange singlet and ic belt 3.Wwe Legends 3 with ic belt 2.Hasbro series 3 and 1.Hasbro series 8.
Mr. Perfect was my favorite heel! Such a smart and talented wrestler. Loved when he would flip himself into the turnbuckle when some strong guy would whip him into the corner. He knew how to sell and he knew how to tell a story in the ring as good as any and better than most. He was Perfect! R.I.P Kurt Henning. 😢
That Mattel Basic Mr. Perfect is probably one of if not the best basic figure they have made.
My favorite gear look for Mr. Perfect was his blue gear.
I wonder how well Mattel could pull off making a reversible singlet with a different iconic color look on each side for an ultimate edition especially Since he isn’t gonna come with many accessories outside of the towel, one or two extra heads so you can have his slick down mullet look, the brushed out permed look and maybe the pony tail look, some extra hands for his knife edge chops, grip and fist hands and maybe an open palm with fingers together and a small wad of gum molded onto his palm to do the gum spit and swat look. Could get collectors buying multiples to do the different singlet looks with different heads and hands.
Man we need a legends series Mr Perfect in Green with a chase in Yellow
Possibly my favorite figure to collect, next to scott hall/razor ramon I'm a mr. Perfect completist. I think the Hasbro series 8 is my favorite with mattel Legends 3 #2 and retrofest #3 rouding out my top 3.

In my humble opinion, the best hasbro play stances were on; Perfect, Bret Hart, the Macho man/HBK/Rick Martel Hogan 3, Andre, Earthquake/Typhoon/Bambam (LEG ARTICULATION!!!) Jumpers can.... do jobs
