What you guys gotta appreciate is that John DID torture Losef. He had 2 opportunities to kill him. In the bath house, he already has him at gun point, but he instead executes one of his bodyguards, and gives him the cold stare of death. From that moment he already had his soul. All he needed was his life. In this scene, he could have sniped him first. But NO! He wanted to kill him last. He wanted to be sure that that last thing he will see is his face. No Arnold one-liners. Just a revenge served cold
What these guys don't understand that's john's style he doesn't waste time on unnecessary words or actions he's there for a reason for a purpose the simplicity of it is what makes it so badass one shot in the gut one in the head to finish the job and walks off giving no fucks COLD BLOODED🎶

Baba Yaga in Russian fairy tales is a very powerful old woman (someone like a witch). She has her own code of rules. She helps good heroes and does evil herself. Versatile character.
I think we all wanted John to kill him slowly and brutal, but the way he did it is still fucking awesome. No talking, the things that needed to be said were already said...just business
That's what makes it better than just torturing Josef. John Wick ain't your run the mill assassin who likes to show off, cause when he decides to do something, he does it straight without hesitation. Letting Josef go off alive in 2 scenarios just to scar him mentally is literally a badass Boogeyman thing to do, induce nightmares to victims until he finally reaches and grabs your life away without a word
You think this is one of those movies where the hero let the villain explain the evil plan then be countered at the end? No, this isn't that kinda of movie.
