I love how once everyone goes through the Warp Gate, the cameraman goes into the Warp Gate as well

Man compared to the PS3 version, the PS4 versions of this just seem so blurry and slow. A real shame too.

what are the differences between the PS2, Ps3, and PS4 versions?

@@DamnZtar uh quick and dirty summary?
PS2 was the original, ran at about 480p but nearly constant 60fps (50 in pal regions though I think they did also have a 60 option)
PS3 version : a version that was remade from the ground up (sort of) for the PS3 hardware, meaning it ran natively, no emulation. Ran at 720p 60 FPS, had loads of extras, was a nice bundle
PS4: emulating the PS2 version, but upscaled to 1080p and with trophy support added. Emulation is poor though, it slows down a whole lot. Especially JakX.
To be fair, this isn't exclusively a Sony problem, the Jak games are hard to emulate for the most part.
My issue is why didn't they just port the PS3 version to the PS4, especially when they were doing that with so many other PS3 games at the time

@@monkeyman767 maybe if they remade it for the switch, it could be an improvement over the ps4 release

@@monkeyman767 I thought they did port the ps3 version to the ps4, and that that's why it ran so terribly, because of the ps3 cell architecture and the whole "rebuilt from the ground up for ps3 hardware" thing. It's really not that hard to emulate the ps2 (after the emotion engine chip was removed from the ps3 motherboards for sale, they did software emulation for a little bit and it was great) and unofficial emulators can run the jak games quite well, so if it was an in house emulator made specifically for the ps2 jak games I don't think it would be an issue. Also the ps3 version had trophy support and the trophies are the same as on ps4.
I think jakx is the only one that was ported from the original ps2 version since they didn't already have a ps3 port for that game, thus why it runs the best out of all 4 games in the ps4 bundle and has the most graphical artifacting.
