Chambray might be a good stand-in for the denim maxi skirt. I found one so light it kind of floats, even in far west Texas, 20 miles from the Rio Grande River. It gives a very similar look, without the weight.

I agree with these tips. I have had denim skirts in the past, but will look for a chambray skirt as suggested by another viewer. Lately I see nice feminine dresses worn with Birkenstock style sandals. Not too flattering to me. The Dad sandal portion reminded of that.
I've never understood tye dye!! Not even in the 70's. It's goofy. Agree with you on bermuda shorts too. I'm tall with a nice waistline, but have saddlebag thighs. Bermuda shorts make me look waaaaaay bigger than I am!

Why are you only showing skinny models in the trends you don't like? You would prove your point by showing how bad those capris look (my opinion) on shorter, wider legs.
I would disagree with several of you style tips… your view seem to be slanted to shorter full figured women… taller full figure women can definitely carry off tie dye, Bermuda shorts and Maxie Jean skirts.

Walmart has a denim pant that looks like denim but its not i think its linen but its blue like denim very nice
