The launch progress arc was really cruddy compared to many previous launch displays. Yes, I was receiving HD. Great to see another successful launch and payload delivery. Congratulations SpaceX. Also rather annoyed that you hang your worthless "viewers" and "LIVE" banners in the WORST possible place - obscuring the altitude and velocity meters.
OK, so millions of taxpayer's dollars were wasted on this...What was the purpose of this? I don't understand, what did it do, but poison our environment with more gases.
First of all this is a way better use than 90% of taxpayer dollars are used nowadays, and in the world of space exploration they work within such tight budgets that it would honestly blow your mind. Here's some info for you about these launches: Falcon heavy launched a NASA space plane into orbit around the earth along with other tests. What exactly the plane is doing is not declassified but my guess is they have a pretty good reason (national security, testing, and the like). Also, SpaceX is able to do these kinds of launches at a much lower expense than NASA ever could saving you and other taxpayers millions of $$$ per launch. Second launch was nothing to do with tax payers as the falcon 9 rocket launched spacex starlink satellites which is funded entirely by SpaceX and not from the government and bring reliable internet to millions and potentially billions in the future who live in remote areas. As for pollutants, rockets produce relatively little as the gasses are burned. It's estimated that all the worlds rockets produce 900-1,000 tons of soot yearly. Planes on the other hand produce around 1 billion tons of soot per year and all the cars in the world produce 3 billion tons with your average car producing 4.6 tons per year. If you have such a problem with pollution stop driving, ordering products/food online or flying lol.
So amazing! Two rockets in the same day! I think that might just be a worlds first!
Wow, so good. 👍🏿

Speaking of your own existence in such derogatory language is a new twist on self hate.
