I'm not hearing what you're hearing. You should perhaps watch more of his videos. His tirkits are perfectly clear imo. Benaras baj utilizes heavier, muddier sounding siyahi movements along with khula baj kinnar syllables. Benaras is one of the more stylistic gharanas. If you listen to Pandit Kishan Maharaj, Puran Maharaj, Shubh Maharaj, the Sahais, you'll notice the tirkits and other sounds are very similar.
@@TheVijaiParadigm Yes he is right.Kumar Bose jis terekete is not clear...Beneras baaj is obviously very prosperous and stylish....but without clarity,nothing is soundsoothing..With due respect,I want to say that pt kishan maharaj was a very good teacher and pandit person..but his playing is not sweet..same thing is with shubh maharaj..You must listen Pt Anokhelal ji,pt samta prasad ji..clarity and sweetness of Beneras baaj are both existent there.It is also true for Zakir ji.He cannot play so fast like many artists but he made his position by clarity,sweetness and knowledge
Please understand the differences of Gharanas and Baz and the styles . His nikas is one of the best in Tabla World He plays very complex compositions unlike many others. His style of playing is very unique. I am not a tabla player from Benaras gharana but I rate him very high
World knows pt.Kumar Bose is one of the finest tabla player.He got Sangeet Natak academy award which is not a joke.And you are saying he should practice tirkit?These people are God of Indian classical music.I don't think you have enough knowledge to judge him.He is great and he will remain that.
