On February 8, 2024, Billy Jack Haynes was arrested following a two-hour standoff with police after a shooting. He was questioned by police, and he is expected to be charged with the murder of his wife, Janette Becraft, who died by gunshot wound. Becraft, who was 85 years old at the time of her death and suffering from dementia, was found dead in their home.

Jimmy Superfly Snuka also murdered his girlfriend in 1983 in a hotel while on the road with the WWF and Vince paid some people to keep it on the down low. It finally went to trial 30 years later, but Jjimmy was too old, sick and senile to go to the hearing and then died shortly thereafter.
This happened in my neighborhood. Very sad. WWE was wild and so popular here back in the day. I feel like there is something to this other than a straight dv murder.

Chris Benoit's case is completely different. The loss of Eddie Guerrero sent him over the edge. I believe he would've committed the same acts despite CTE, if Eddie still had died. Furthermore, Jimmy Snuka is also a murderer whom didn't get convicted due to his poor health prior to his death. Wrestling in general is had a dark history full of murder, suicide, drugs and tragic accidents.
He only wrestled year and a half in WWE after wrestling decate already and wrestled another decate after that in other places and he sued Vince?? Vince beat US goverment in court, there is no way this guy got nothing

Benoit was using a diving headbutt move for years and years before ever entering a WWE ring and thats a fact. His brain was already scrambled by the time he left WCW as in Japan he got some absolute beatdowns been a smaller western guy. Benoit only was in WWE for part of his career.
Not excusing Vince but end of the day Benoit's choice of moves and risk hurt himself long before you ever get into the steroids encouraged by WCW/WWE at the time. WCW had Hogan, Goldberg, Nash etc at the top of the card so Benoit got on the steroids before WWE.
If Vince got sued Ted Turner should have also. Basically the same in both companies and in Japan.
