The DD2 version of End of a Struggle isn't as bad as people say, but it is definitely weaker compared to the original; even Reversal of Fate (the Alternate Theme) is much more impactful compared to it. This New Theme feels like a natural evolution to End of a Struggle; It's longer, contains elements from Dragon's Dogma Online, and uses the combination of both Classical and Metal instruments, which is really what most people wanted. 10/10 Rendition

imagine if you cleared the game and ng+ instead of starting over you are back on the pathfinder's back and that is the boss fight that starts ng+ that would be so epic and then you have to quest to get your pawn back and then you take over the kingdom and decide the fate of the royalty

I would like to continue playing DD2, but my game is glitched. It wont let me change the job abilities/weapon skills for my gamepad (yes I am that guy). I had it set then after one of the updates it reset the abilities/ weapon skills back to the early level ones. Every time I go to reset them the game never saves the changes.

Because it doesn’t really expand on things from DD1 it’s pretty much more or less the same game with less options and less content. It’s a mediocre game just like the first one with insane potential to be really good but capcom just isn’t really giving the DD team the ability to craft something grandiose. I enjoyed both DD and DD2 for what they are but they just need more funding and time to knock it out of the park. DD2 had great combat but lack of skills turned players away coming from DD1 Lack of fashion way less options which is an absolute sin. Difficulty is absolutely pathetic even worse than the first game which was already easy as hell it falls off super hard in DD2 like level 20 you feel like a god which is a problem. The vocations being less than the first game when they have a whole arsenal of vocations to pull from between DD1 and DDO as well as concept pieces. (Personally I don’t really care all that much but it’s clear they went with the most basic vocations in DD2) You can hate “souls” games all you want but there is a clear reason why they top the charts on player count with every release and do insane sales numbers Dragons Dogma will never achieve that level of fame despite me loving the series But honestly to me just sounds like a complete skill issue on learning the game mechanics because literally everyone says this on their first go and I don’t even know why you are comparing the two games to begin with when they are completely different types of games despite both being action RPG’s. The people that dog on dragons dogma 2 are critical fans of dragons dogma not from the souls fanbase sure there might be some that do but it’s people disappointed in capcom by the direction they took with DD and not giving us a quality product on a series they love to death. It’s at best a 6/10 if I’m being generous and DDDA was at least an 8. You can enjoy the game that’s fine but you can ask people what they didn’t like about DD2 and you will get different answers Everytime try indulging in the community forums and you will see exactly what I’m talking about. DD2 could have honestly been their Elden Ring moment but instead it was the starfield moment fans got. After having replayed DD1 about 15 times, sinking hundreds of hours into the Bitterblack Isle, I still can't pinpoint exactly what went wrong with DD2. Besides somehow feeling more empty than DD1 did. And I'll never shut up about how the vocations were lackluster to say the least, pathetic if I want to be mean. Removed DD1 Vocations, didn't replace them with equal alternatives, wasted an entire vocation slot on a vocation that can't deal damage, wasted another slot on a vocation that was just "all vocations" but worse because it was extremely limited and had an awkward weapon swap animation that completely stopped combat. Returning vocations had many of their abilities gutted or removed, separated Strider into 2 separate vocations for some reason, leaving both feeling weaker. I could keep going but this is a music video, not a review video. Hopefully Capcom will one day return to the title, or just give us what we want in the form of a official Global DDO server. But I personally fear there's no DD3 and I won't be surprised to hear DD2 DLC get cancelled.
You know what, they're right. What's the point on making some updates or DLC for DD2 when Dark Arisen's gonna be better anyway. Just update the song or some sh*t.
@@omaewarick9356 They need more dynamic enemy encounters, more enemies like why are their no unique enemies around the elf domain that bothered me a lot ngl there's maybe 20 different enemies throughout the entire game and that's including subspecies, also level scaling at the minimum
They should totally just remake Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen with the latest graphics and animations of Dragon’s Dogma 2 and then Add the Cut out content like the Moon etc and now they can add the beasts to the new character creator. I think it would be a win win since that’s the REAL WORLD. They gotta remake that with ALL the NEW Bells & whistles, THEN they can add an online component or DLC expansions and it will live on forever ♾ that would be amazing 🥲
