I'm not sure why English is perceived as a form of intelligence or if you know that language you are considered to seem better than others. No, English is just more appealing for individuals and it makes communication smoother compared to other languages. Do not doubt yourselves all these actors have made themselves reputable actors without knowing the language. So thankful that they know the language it's more easier to understand them and communicate with the rest of us.
Your last sentence was the whole point of this video. And English was not considered a big deal in this video. It's the actor's dedication and passion.
It’s not about intelligence; it’s about the ability or talent each person has to learn and speak another language fluently, in addition to their native tongue. Some people, no matter how smart they are, struggle to learn a new language despite years of effort. Others may pick it up naturally through exposure, like watching movies, listening to music, or playing games. And the video emphasizes the English language, as it is considered a universal language.
From Australia. Mad respect for those who learn English as a second language, particularly in Asia. English is a tough language to learn, it's a mongrel European language of enormous complexity. Perhaps possible to speak conversationally and be understood without a huge problem, but soooo hard to be fluent and articulate. Pronunciation is also tricky for some native speakers of other languages- your mouth just doesn't make those shapes naturally!
Tbh Kim Ji Hoon is one of the best and I enjoy watching him act as a villain. His English is good. Also I'm a big Park Bo Gum fan and it's great to hear him speak in english
Very difficult to choose one of them ! All of them are handsome talented stars , cute , kind to folks . But the great singer , interesting actor , magnifique actor Park Bo Gum is my preference, my adorable crush . But be sure I admire , all these amazing Kdrama actors , they are the Best !
Watching from California, USA. Cha Eun Woo said in an old interview that he lived in the Philippines for a few months & that's when he learned how to speak English.
Sending lots of love to California, USA 🇺🇸. You are correct, but since the Philippines is not an English-speaking country, he should have learned English on his own to communicate with them.
@@yourk-list He was just a child in grade school. When you're a child, all you think about is play. It was his parents decision to let him learn English. English is not the Philippines first language but it is definitely used in the schools as a medium of instruction.
He specifically said that he went to the Philippines to learn English. And the younger the person the easiest for them to learn a different language@@yourk-list
Ahn Hyo Seop was not included in this list because he was born in Canada and lived there for some time, which contributed to his fluency. RM also learned English by himself, watching TV shows and practicing, but since he is not an actor, he was not included. That's why. But you did great pointing out the best ones. 😊
kang sora is in dream high 2 in 2012 first before misaeng tho.... she gained popularity in her debut film but gained more viewers when she's in dream high 2 because of the target population of the genre in dream high is different from her other projects.
I am from London England. Looking at this MV I was amazed at the fluency how these talented actors speak the English language, better than some of the natives here. I am a great fan of K Drama ...just love them.👍❤
I don't understand one thing why people need to go to foreign countries to learn English? All you need is good English teacher in your school. I am from India, that's how we learn it here.
We all learn English at school, but it's different when English is part of your everyday conversations. You tend to master it, including your pronunciation, when it's something you use every day. Even a good education won't improve your English if you don't practice or have experience speaking with English speakers. That's the point here.
@@yourk-list That's upto students willingness to learn. But going to foreign countries can be very expensive just to learn language. Like here our schools classes are divided in Hindi/regional language medium and English medium. It's not only about English language but we learnt science and maths in English language. These days you can find everything online. People are learning new languages through online classes. Korean are learning Hindi in college and Indians are learning korean without visiting other countries. So in the end if people are really interested they can learn language of their choice anywhere.
The school curriculum in most countries is similar, with every subject being taught in English. One thing I agree with is that dedicated students improve their English. Simply learning English in school doesn't make them perfect unless they have exposure outside of school or dedication. Thank you for the detailed explanation.
