I'm glad you included Painmail, since upgrades aren’t usually thought of in this role. Here are some more Upgrades that can be useful for dealing with Bryo: Collar of Subordination, Soul Keeper, Freelancer (as said above), Static Charge (with enough time), Ostentatious Mount (similar utility to Moon), Silent Dagger, Blasters, Extrematode Infection, and anything that gives a creature taunt can help you get around a protected Bryo. On the note of upgrades, Halo of Enlightenment and/or Encounter Suit could make Bryo a huge pain to deal with.
One of the few times I faced a Bryozoarch deck (Against Lainusu as it happens) I was playing an Antiquities Dealer deck. And what artifacts did I have thanks to Antiquities Dealer? A Speed Sigil and a Doom Sigil, meaning any creature I played first could immediately kill Bryozoarch. Man, I love Keyforge...
Yes. More like this, please. With the 2024 competitive season starting up in the near future, more strategy talk like this will be incredibly helpful, especially since this almost entirely new information to me. I have never faced Bryo before, my local player pool is currently very limited.
I hated this card ever since you played it against me at one of our local events at an inopportune time 🙂! Great strategy advice, very welcome video. Great comments from the viewers too!
Yeah... I've had a couple games I've played when he came up that I just didn't have answers for him making him extremely hard to get rid of. 6 is a lot to try to get through if you're just trying to build a board.
You forgot about take control Bryozoach, tourist trap or collar of subordination should do the work, they can also deal with some crazy combo like Bryozoach and ward, encounter suit or the infamous Ghostform
Totally, that's a great route to take as well! Having those sorts of answers in your deck may even make your opponent a little more hesitant to play Bryo in the first place!
I loathe this card. It's not that there aren't answers, it's that if your deck doesn't have one, many games just enter zombie mode where their not over...but they're over. I recently opened the 11th ever Ghostform + Bryozoarch (that also has Amphora Capture with 27 total pips and Inspiring Oration with Scholar token...yes the deck does the thing) and it's already shelved as I don't like what it does to the game. It becomes about drawing certain cards together...very one note, rather than about playing Keyforge which is the opposite of one note. Bryozoarch games are fundamentally less interesting than non-Bryozoarch games (for me). Bryozoarch is the only card that I concede against before the final turn. Just not worth the frustration.
Wow that deck sounds insane. . . I can definitely understand why something like that would be a turn off for a lot of people, that sort of "feels bad" disruption can certainly become frustrating!

Those are all awesome options! Collar of Subordination in particular is a pretty evil option haha, give the opponent a taste of their own medicine!
@@aembermedes on that note, Lord Invidious, Shadowsaurus, and even Smiling Ruth are good options.
Beambuckler is my favorite counter. Deal 2 damage to it and move it to the opposite flank. Makes it super easy to kill with an action.
Nice ideas thanx. It doesn't always work, but Bloodshard Imp and Soulkeeper can be a crazy option.

I would love to put out more videos like this, thanks!

Quantum Fingertrap, the best artifact in the game, comes in clutch vs Bryo. That and one action wipes it out
I found a neat way to solve him with freelancer. Multiple turn solution but freed me up to play actions
Ooh that's an interesting one!

Your music choices are always 🔥🔥🔥
Haha thanks :)
Nice
Damage pips on ALL your creatures
Haha there you go! Splinter OP!
this card is complete non sense. 6 power really
