Hello , i tried the method you showed in video to simulate the lap welding of two bars but i had these two warnings " The distance from the master surface is greater than the position tolerance value" and "172 nodes are either missing intersection with their respective master surface or are outside the adjust zone. The nodes have been identified in node set WarnNodeMissMasterIntersect" and the analysis doesn't show any non linearity . Do you have any idea how to solve that? Thank you
Can I use ductile damage for weld? My model is about progressive collapse. I apply the load on a column and I want to calculate the strength of the weld and can you suggest any reference or guide for doing that please?
