Residential user here. Bought this two days ago...absolutely outstanding upgrade over my BGA 86 and BGA 100 (which I never really cared for). With two AP 300S's and an AL500 charger, I can do everything I need to on my smaller but heavily treed residential lot. Very surprised to see it in my local Ace Hardware store, considering it's not even on the Stihl USA website yet. Great tool.
I appreciate the effort Stihl places on sound tone and resonance. It is the main reason I purchased their products in addition to their superior performance and quality
Just got the bga 250 and was able to use it this week. A joy for quick clean ups. My question: are there going to be attachments available to extend the blowing tube. It feels a bit short, also in comparison to the bga 200. Would be nice to not have to bend over to blow up wet clumps of material.
Hi! We are happy to hear you are enjoying your STIHL BGA 250! Regarding attachment availability, as availability differs from country to country, please kindly reach out to our colleagues in your country. They will be able to answer any inquiry you might have!
Hi Guys! Thanks for the detailed review. Just one more question. The BGA 250 can do 26N at the highest power level. However, as the device has three different power levels, I'd be interested to know how many Newtons it can handle at the two weaker levels. I'm using my beloved BG56 petrol blower since years and now considering about buying a new one.
Hello! Thank you for your comment! We want to inform you, that the BGA 250 has the following N by power levels: Level 1: 11 N, Level 2: 15 N, Level 3: 20 N, Boost Mode: 26 N.
@@Stihl I've always wondered what the blowing force is for the different levels! I'm picking the BGA 250 up tomorrow. I've already own the BGA 200, but I like the option to put the battery in the machine, very handy for just a quick tidy up. Do you have the blowing force power for the BGA 200 on each level?
@@garyclapham5482 Hello! Thank you for your comment! We want to inform you, that the BGA 200 has the following N by power levels: Level 1: 5 N, Level 2: 10 N, Level 3: 16 N, Boost Mode: 21 N.
Great video guys. The sound is so important along with the ergonomics. Looks like the new BGA250 knocks it out the park. Looking forward to getting one to try out.
Thank you for your kind words! It's fantastic to hear that you recognize the importance of sound and ergonomics in the BGA250. We can't wait for you to experience it firsthand.
Great information 👍, most of my client's work from home or retired and low noise levels are so important to me, battery gives minimum disruption to the customers day, 🙂
The comfort carrying system for easy attachment to the hip belt of the AR L carrying system is only available on the BGA 200. The BGA 250 is compatible with a battery belt carrying system with harness. For more information please contact our STIHL Support Center.
@@Stihl theoretically- the feel or ergonomics make it so that I don’t even need the attachment the 200 has? I’m willing to take a leap on that 250 but I thought the 200 clip was neat.
In Terms of pricing it is the successor of the bga86. I wonder what technological leap frog has enabled the 67% increase in power at the same price. It’s not like power has never been the central aspect of the product!

The BGA250 is more affordable than the BGA200 even though it is more powerfull etc. Is there any upside of the BGA200 besides the ergonomic system?
The BGA200 is so much lighter

Battery only good for blowing off after cutting. For a real job you got to have gas powered back pack.
