    Hi mate,
    is the picture good quality as you connect direct to the tv?
    Sorry mate but how a retrolover as you can not play on crt tv? Colors are wonderful in crt and zero lack

      This SCART switcher won't work on a PAL, SCART-equipped CRT without a signal amp. The RetroTink 5X IS the amplifier, here.

    Why do you keep looking to your left?

    Was wondering if I could hook it up to a transcoder since the site says not compatible with scart tvs

    Sounds like a great bit of kit. Decent price too when you compare to what else it out there (rubbish switches for £10-20, or crazy top end at £200!).

    I’m too poor to get a Retrotink 5x. 🙁

      They are expensive for sure, Retrotink make 2X upscalers for a lot cheaper though, I used to have the rad2x's that are around £55 each.

    I saw this and was like wait what! But then i realized its technically only one output so you cant output to a pvm and an hd tv. Maybe an update will come out where you can do that. Until then ill just keep my gscart.

      You'd need a SCART matrix for that with 2 or more outputs. RGC are releasing a version of this switch soon that is just for CRT/PVM, not for the Retrotink 5x!

    When I use this device it doesn’t enable me to use the frame lock or gen lock option. It causes signal loss, any suggestions?

      I've had a teething issue as well, just email RGC via replying to your order email, they reply very promptly.

    I hope that there will be a bigger one in the future like the hydra 2 where you can plug 12 consoles in .

      Can only hope, I would imagine not as have a feeling this was designed to be of similar form factor to the RetroTink 5X

    Did you ever experienced any issues with the device sending 5v to other consoles?

    • @DaleyRetro
      @DaleyRetro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can't say I have no, I'd highly recommend using good quality RGC SCART cables though to avoid potential issues. Though I did actually have to get a replacement as my initial unit was faulty on one port (intermittent video but audio always worked), but was quick and easy to sort with RGC.

      @@DaleyRetro Yeah, I'm getting my cables from RGC as well. I guess what I'm going to do is having one console plugged in to this turned on, while having a second cable coming out of another port and measure voltage at the other end.
