It's not that an M249 would melt a suppressor, it's that putting hundreds of consecutive rounds through a suppressor melts it regardless of the weapon used.
It usually takes a 400-800 round burst to melt a suppressor.

Hey Conner try this; You never shoot first, if someone shoots at you only then you can return fire but if someone doesn't shoot at you then you can't shoot/kill him either.
