Dear Savi and Vid, my name is Roswita and I'm a freelance makeup artist from Mumbai. Also a fairly new and first time mother. I recently took a trip to Bali to celebrate Ruh's (my daughter) first birthday. We wanted to skip the whole 'lets invite half the world for our baby's first birthday' celebration and do something that SHE would enjoy. Also this, we thought, would give some family time and we would bond better since the last year has been only about keeping up late nights and changing diapers and the works. Hey Savi, that was a really informative video. Loved the cane hat you bought. I have one similar to it and probably a little bigger in size than the one you have. I want to know how do you carry it and pack it in your luggage in the flight? Because folding it will just ruin it right.
Hey you can pick a hat box or keep it flat in your suitcase with a garment or two stuffed in the round part so it doesn't lose its shape. Surround it with other clothes instead of heavy items :)
Hey Vid-Savi...can you please do a guide to accomodation in Bali Indonesia (cangu,denpasar,kuta,ubud etc) probably include best areas to stay in these locations. Maybe budget hotels,hostels and great villas or places worth the spurlge.
