I have to say that I really appreciate how far you have come with your producing over the years. I see many videos on a week but yours are extremely well done. Really on a high level! Greetings as always from your OG 😉
Excellent review. The noise test for calls was impressive. And the voice call quality sounded good. I'd bought these it hadn't opened them yet as I can return them and I do have other wireless earbuds. However, because of your excellent review, I've opened the box and the Tozos are now plugged in charging. Thank you :) (subscribed)
Great review! This is by far one of the better reviews about these buds. I receive mine from Amazon tomorrow, looking forward to trying them for myself. Thank you for the informative, professional quality review! 13:08 "A lot of people still hold on to the glossy finish that just looks older than 2 weeks" 😆 Edit: I got them today, set them up... and absolutely hated them! I may have gotten a faulty pair, but the volume was terrible, the right bud rattled and the overall feel was what a baby chicken says: Cheep! Cheep! So I returned them, went to my local Sam's Club and shelled out for the Shokz Openfits. They had a display where I could test them before buying... and I absolutely love them! Especially after I got home, paired my devices, snagged the app, updated and set myself a killer EQ custom setting! Worth the money. Your video here is still a good review. The Tozo joints just aren't for me. 👌
Marvellous review Paul. Greetings from England and a Happy New Year. I just received my pair today. I found them a bit tricky to put on at first probably because as you say there in nothing else quite like them. However once on, they were super comfortable. Connected straight away with Bluetooth phone and with a first brief listen I was quite happy with the sound. Could you answer one thing though - is it necessary to have volume at full on the phone or tablet and then adjust to the listening level to be comfortable on the Tozos? I haven’t been able to see any indication of the volume level on the phones or the app.(Perhaps I need to play around with them some more) I intend to use them only outdoors when walking or cycling which is why I went for this type. I had considered bone induction types but a) because of price and b) because of inferior sound quality I plumped for these. You now have a new subscriber (not that the boss will let me buy any more headphones) but I will look at your channel with interest. Keep up the good work.
Hi Michael, greetings and a happy new year to you too. I found these to reflect the volume of the phone like most wireless earphones do. So whether I boost from the phone or the buds, I see the volume going up or down on the phone in both scenarios. I've tried this on iOS and Android devices, and they operate this was for me. If for whatever reason it's operating the way you've mentioned, you're better off boosting volume from your source to 80-90%, then increasing volume from the earphones. Above 90% might lead to clipping, and below 80% might sound too thin. See if there's an update for the buds. It might sort this out and make it operate like mine do, but I'm only speculating. I prefer how these sound over bone conduction any day. Those tend to sound treble happy and have thin mids. It's not really enjoyable. Thanks for the sub and support 😊
Great review Paul ,which one is better all-rounder in semi open design earbuds, Nothing ear stick vs Tozo openego vs Tozo tonel fits vs Tozo true open ear. Please let me know if it should be best.
Did you encounter problem that one ear piece is draining quickly than the other? Both were 100% when taken out from charging and turned on at same time. But one of my earpiece is draining so fast... Can you let me know anything about this. Thank you! Btw awsm video!
I hadn't experienced that with this set of earphones, but I have with others at a later stage. If it's new and depleting fast, it's worthwhile getting in touch with customer care. No two cells are the same, so they won't lose charge at the exact same pace, but new ones should hold similar charges for a few months. So if one is at 99% and the other is at 90%, don't worry about it, but if one is at 99% at the other is at 80%, that's probably a defected battery in the lower on so in time you'll have one earphones dead while the other is at 50%. So, it is worthwhile connecting with customer care if it's that bad and your earphones are in warranty.
I always hated rubber tips plugging inside my ears while running. Being a beginner audiophile i do care about details in the music but i feel who is going to search details while running or walking. What do you say paul my budget is okay for this. If you say so I will order now. If there is any other open earbud I need to check before ordering please let me know.
Yea, I'm with you on that. While running or doing things around the house, the finer details in your music don't really matter. I've tested some bone conduction earphones and another set from Tozo which are open, but I do prefer these ones over them. This is the most fun sounding of the lot and the most comfortable to wear as well!
Hi Paul, I was trying to buy this but the prefer color is not available in amazon India and price is also a lot costlier than the official site. The tozo official site you mentioned is of global one. Would it be fine if i order from this site.? I have never bought from an international site before so cannot decide. Please help
They do delivery globally. It's worthwhile writing to them and asking them their process if you'd like to know how they handle shipping. They do ship to India as far as I know.

How do you only have 10k subs? Pretty good review without getting crazy technical.
🤣 it's a big number for me.
Primarily because of your review, I got these. I'm really happy with them! Thank you for the excellent, honest review.
Enjoy your new earphones 😊
Nice review. Impressed with your conclusion and have ordered a pair.

You are spot on about the weak EQ. Find it odd that the cheaper OpenEgo (I own them as well as the OpenBuds) has a customizable EQ.
Which is better for calls ? Open ego ?

I did like the Ear Stick a lot. It's easier to get your hands on that in India than the Tozo Open Buds. I prefer the Tozo Open Buds to the open ego.
Excellent review. Thanks.
I love your review
How are these compared to Soundcore V30i?
Hey Paul for phone calls, would you recommend this or the other tozo opengo buds?
Both are good performers, but I'd say give both call demos a listen to see which one you prefer.
