Great episode.. just to mention, there are several popular agent frameworks, probably most of them currently allow your boss agent scenario, and I know mine does. I set up a function (tool) for an agent to start conversations with other agents given some context and task and then come back to the conversation when it's finished with the results. We used this as a test with one client to have a supervisor managing a task with two other agents, one an Excel expert and the other PowerPoint. The task was to extract data from some spreadsheets, enter it into another spreadsheet, then create some slides based on the calculations from the spreadsheet. So this long running task over more than 15 minutes was completed by the three agents working together on several tasks, with the supervisor agent organizing it. Point being, the software and agents can do this stuff already. It's just a matter of getting models to be a little bit more robust and inexpensive and it then it will be the new normal.
Matt, what you say at 16min, is today. I could literally build it for you in a couple of days.... and much, much more. I would even do it no win no fee :)
I've been helping authors turn their books into visuals they can use to market their books across their socials. It's been interesting using my basic design skills from a tourism industry to help them be more creative. They hate marketing. Thanks for the great content.
Matt, you might want to fix the link to Don's X account, it has a closing parenthesis which screws up the link. Not hard to figure out why it won't work, but some may just think it's a wrong link. Otherwise - kudos for your content, keep it up.
Just because I'm a woman you think I'm stupid, but then you're wrong. What happens in the black box, I certainly don't know, but as a ChatGPT API owner, I understand a little how LLM works :p
@bettytureaud I never brought gender into this. I didn't even read your user name, as your comment was stupid. You own an OpenAI API? Congratulations. I have now...122 APIs in my tech stack. Know what you don't know. Drop the ego. I learned all this from scratch, self taught. You can too.

Another interesting fact about Hermes, the ancient greek god of messaging, is that he was a trickster deity.
I also read the Off to Be the Wizard series of books. They were excellent

Why have an Ai agent when an Ai can do it all! Ai app stores are just old school.
You have no idea what an agentic system is, do you? Nor how every LLM works?
