    i think you have done an amazing job! i restored a mk2 golf and put a 1.8t in it in a single garage so can appreciate all the hard work you have put in!

    Mine has the same alarm sound . Fuck me its a pain. Its only real use is to tell me when spiders or flies get trapped in the car or when the battery goes flat.

      Yeah I plugged it in thinking it would be dead and just to have something on the end of the multiplug
      But was shocked when I started to go off at 8:00 in the morning 😂

    Keep the passenger door open while the boots open to stop the alarm going off ?

      Picked up a 6n2 1.4 tdi for £300. Been driving uit for a year such a cool wee car

      Hello there
      Wheels are 5x100 16” 6.5j ET42 and the tyres are 195/40 r16 80v (just to give it a slight side wall stretch

    Hate to say this but it's a drive shaft is for front wheel drive not prop shaft I would not of messed around with engine mounts or subframe bolts would of checked the drive shaft first you will learn if you don't no alot or ask a friend or some one mate

      @@ItsmeCraigyP why I said check the drive shaft as the weight could of moved thats why it was knocking don't take alot of movement to make it knock and vibrate jack it up take both wheels off the front or just the wheels off the ground make sure hand brake is on and block the back wheels up so don't move start it up but it in gear but very slow and check but don't rev the shit out of it as if comes off the stands be a right damage mate

      Also check the drive shaft bearings drive it slow when on full lock might make a clunk sounds or be vibration when driving it hope it helps mate

      Didn't realize it's four wheel drive so do wat I said about jacking it up take the front wheels off and put it in gear for god sake only just realised

      I have a feeling the man knows what he is doing even showed the small clearance between the subframe and prop also the rub marks on the paint
      I hope you're home built 4x4 project goes as well as his
