I think Gaijin fixed this. You have to have a hard lock to power up and launch. But if you unlock, after powering up and not launching, you loose the powering up

You have too lock something then spool up the ER. Once it’s spooled you may unlock your radar and it will be able too be fired.

TWS isn't accurate enough to guide the missile to the exact position of the target, only a hardlock can do that. Hence why the Aim54 does the same thing, albeit it switches from TWS to hardlock on its own.

Bcz its a fox1 missile.
Launching the R27ER with TWS was a bug and has been fixed.
