a little fact 20:54 the people behind jimin are all idols not just idol but all are main dancers as you can see jimins moves are different because he is trained professionally and excels even at his young age
Loved the reaction but the blindfold actually wasn't see through. Fans who were at the award show said that J-Hope had to carry him up on stage before they started so yeah
Jhope did not carry him (only jk has exclusive rights to carry Jimin). Haha. Jhope put on the blindfold for jimin after he stood in position on stage. 😊
he wasn't carried lol but J-hope had to lead him out by the hand bc he already had a blindfold on. it was from a EXO fan I think? or maybe NCT, I don't remember
J-hope did indeed lead him on stage, carried was a bit of an exaggeration though. Regardless Jimin can be carried by any and all of his members as he so pleases thank you very much lol.

Jimin since age 11 studied, performed, & competed (winning every competition) in hip hop, popping (excels), & street dance. He then started studying & ultimately performing contemporary, being the top student. I personally think Jhope is an amazing HIPHOP dancer. Jimin studied modern dance but he was still so easily able to transition into hiphop and is very close to Jhopes level. Jimin is a versatile dancer who has mastered 2 genres of dance. I think both jimin and jhope are amazing dancers and shouldn’t be compared because they are different. They’re both just so amazing.
Jimin biases out here like preaching when someone praises jhope. Jhope is dance leader for a reason. I get jimin bias wrecked a lot. Jimin can be more emotive on stage and he has black belts etc which he excels at. When it comes to hip hop street dance jhope excels period. Its no use beating around the bush cuz someone praises jhope. If they had praised jimin instead, you'd have nothing like this to say. Just be fair.
They r dancers and a lot of dancers channel I see actually like jhope cus he dances like there are no bones in his body. More contemporary love Jimin. But all dancers love both. Just saying, there's a reason Hobi is dance leader and jimin is main dancer.
BTS is a 7 member group. Even with your bias, the others still make it BTS. Give credit where credit is due. No one is perfect.
@@minitwink16plz I’ve seen myself Jhope biases do the same thing. When Jimin is being praised and called the best jhope biases start coming into the comments preaching. Even when it’s a video only about Jimin. FYI the person is a professional dancer and hopemin biased. I’m also a professional dancer and I’m Suga biased but a little more of an OT7.
Everyone has their opinions on who they think is the best dancer, which I respect. Like I think jhope and Jimin are both insanely talented dancers. But I personally think Jimin is one of the best dancers I’ve ever seen, one of a kind. I’ve studied so many peoples dancing, and when I started studying Jimin’s dancing. He was different. Like the way he moves is unbelievable. The way he does certain moves is so unique even professionals can’t replicate. He’s something special in my opinion.
Also some facts: Jimin is known as the best male dancer in Kpop(3yrs now), known for his beautiful dance lines, and as a very versatile dancer. Jimin before doing contemporary, he did street dance, popping, hip-hop longer than he did contemporary/ballet. He has mastered poppin, hip hop, break dance, street dance, and is known he had worked hard on every subject such as ballet, korean dance, etc, besides his major of contemporary dance, based on his teacher's past interview. What makes him even more unique is that he mixes both when dancing, which makes him such a versatile dancer. Jimin is an expert when it comes to combining different techniques from his different backgrounds and making something entirely new. He just perfected so many different styles of dancing. That Jimin has his own style of dancing. Professionals say “Jimin’s dancing is like a masterpiece that can’t be replicated.” Jimin at age 11-12 started studying, performing, competing(winning every competition) in hip-hop, popping(in which he excelled). No.1 in Busan Street Dance Battles. Also was the top student in the dancing department. Jimin is widely recognized by all professionals Jimin has been praised and acknowledge by some of the best dance choreographers in the world, like Matthew Bourne. Idols have been revealing Jimin as their role model, bc they want to be able to perform and dance like him. They always say they are always studying his dancing. He’s even received a cultural plaque award allegedly awarded to him for his exemplary fan dance. This was such a national honor for a dancer who represents his country, he was the only 1 to receive it. Jimin just has something special and unique to him.
Overall doesn’t change the fact that they are both amazing dancers! Just everyone has their preference.

His whole persona is versatile he can do so many things,he looks good in any hair colour in any outfit and also his duality is the main charm

His talents are actually underrated bcz he doesn't show that much of his talents thats why people always don't know about him fully
He is more of a caring and kind person he doesn't like to show off this is why i think his song filter is perfectly matches him

Jimin is one of the best dancers and performers in the industry and probably the most well rounded too.
He can dance to literally anything and his delivery and emotions are no joke. I have never had a kpop idol make me feel as much with their dancing as Jimin does, there is no match for him.
I also feel like people don't give him enough credit for his contemporary dance since it isn't as flashy or preferred as hip-hop.
A lot of people who don't dance contemporary don't truly understand how hard it is. When dancing contemporary the movements are supposed to be so fluid and effortless, it's supposed to look easy no matter how hard it actually is. Where as hip-hop is a bit more flashy and fun to watch, so I feel like people often overlook contemporary and lyrical dancers in favour of the more interesting dance styles.
I think most people especially in kpop world excel more in hip-hop dance and train in that style . Hip pop dance mostly done in pop music. Rarely do you see contemporary dance unless in theaters. I do think jhope best in hip pop . Jimin a bit more rounded cuz he can do both. I disagree most kpop idols cannot do some of things jimin able to do , even jhope can’t. Most young people prefer hip pop dance so will prefer jhope and other kpop dancers. But in a trained professional dance world jimin has something unique and special. Has been called out by some of best dance choreographers in the world like Matthew Bourne .
I think it all boils down to preference. They're both amazing dancers who excel in different aspects of dance.
Personally what I find impressive with Jimin is that he's classically trained and can pull off the heavy hip hop moves.
Typically classical dancers (especially modern/contemporary dancers) are taught to stay light on their feet and focus all their tension to the core, but with hip hop based dancing its literally the opposite. You're meant to be heavy on your feet, most of your movement relies on your legs. So when he joined BigHit and went through training he practically had to go against his classical training, he didn't only have to learn something new, but he literally had to unlearn something that he excelled at for years. It's nice to see how far he's come from where he started. He also had the shortest training period in the group, cuz he was the last member to join.

This is a good compilation of Jimin but yet it was made at years ago , so a lot of Jimin’s new and legend dance clips since 2017 are not included . 🤧
If possible, I strongly recommend you do react to “ Bts Jimin’s legendary fancams compilation” by Jem, and also “Bts Jimin iconic/ underrated fancams” by lofiejm (a more new one, MUST SEE❗️ ) . Those videos will show you how versatile Jimin is , cuz he is really an incredible dancer that is good at so many vibes of dancing not only just contemporary . And hope you enjoy the videos 🥰

I feel like people often forget how epic jimin is at street dance, hip hop, popping, isolations, etc. and instead focus on his contemporary dancing. Heck, the genre he technically studied for the shortest amount of time was actually contemporary.
(U see his hip hop roots the most during their early years though- back when bts was meant to be primarily a hip hop group)

I think jimin is the third best dancer in kpop or something like that (I'm not sure but i think TAEMIN and Lisa are one and two? Or Taemin and Kai?) anyways, yes they have their own style you should probably check out jungkook dancing too. The three of them (J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook) are the part of dance line (tae recently joined)

I agree. I also feel like J-Hope could show off more than he lets on. Jimin is very good but the only aspect he’d beat J-Hope by far is contemporary. In hip hop they both have different styles but it’s clear that J-Hope would dice Jimin in a dance battle. Also feel the same about RM’s rap. He can do more than he lets on but people think Suga is better. I only think Suga is better at producing (not sure tho). RM on the other hand, is a lyrical genius and his rapping is crazy; definitely better than Suga.
But that’s my opinion anyway. We don’t need to look at who is better. We should just enjoy their entertainment. They are all wonderful 😍😍

Jimin can definitely do what Jhope can (popping and street dance) but Jhope can’t do contemporary, that’s the difference. But they are both good respectively, it just comes down to preferences.
J-hope can do contemporary and jazz as well, but their styles are different. J-hope definitely has hip hop on lockdown, Jimin excels in contemporary. Jimin really can't do what j-hope can and j-hope can't do what jimin can because their styles and core are too different to compare. It's just preference. 😊

@@aparnay6391 Yes! I'll get clips for you. For one all of them performed in Black Swan which has heavy Contemporary choreography and Hobi was wonderful in it. Let Go is also beautiful. Boy Meets Evil is more Urban than Contemporary but still shows his versatility.

Hes very versatile as you can see! BTS is lucky to have 2 incredible dancers. Most groups only have 1 main dancer, to have 2 that are this talented is very incredible!

Jimin in black dancing with others - Those are not backup dancers but other idols. Its a combined dance showcase featuring the main dancers of many idol groups at one of the year end shows, SBS Gayo. FYI while they were trainees and BEFORE debut, BTS members have been backup dancers and "extras" in music videos. This is common practice for trainees so they get stage and film set experience.
