Julie’s Plans you were such an inspiration to me today, that in between my Friday cleaning, I started to set up my cleaning schedule for new ECLP! 💕 I’d show y’all, but I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️ how to or if it’s even permissible to upload a pic here. No bother... 😃 just know that y’all are an inspiring soul to us new to the planner world! Thanks 🙏🏻
I'm using the 12 hexagon page as an accomplishments page. It can be a big accomplishment per month or just any or all that I have in the year. Thanks for sharing.
I like using the blank pages in the back for each family member’s sick days-what they had and what meds were given. I also keep track of when I start monthly. Just bought my first EC!
My husband looks at me like I'm a whack job because I think about it for days. I think everyone does. EC is smart to release the new one a month before it comes out. It gives all the creative juices time to get flowing. 😍🥰
I’m using the 12 hexagons for Major events I’m looking forward to in each month! My bachelorette weekend, wedding, first married Christmas, work conferences (I work for a summer camp so our conferences are so fun) vacations, etc! I used the deco stickers from the back of the planner to spice it up, too!
I love these ideas! For the large hexagons page, I'm doing a "words to live by." These are words that I look to for inspiration and guidence in my life. Some of mine are "kindness," "hope," "breathe," and "dream." 😊
I'm using the 12 hexagon page to keep track of trainings or workshops I complete. Good for future resumes cause I always forget something...lol The 12 boxes in the front I'm using for a reading tracker. Bookshelf stickers and deco have my heart at the moment so I did a 2 page spread in the back. All the book stickers have blank spines so I could write author's names or colour them in when I complete a book. By far these are my fav pages I've ever done in any of my planners!
Love your ideas! For the large hexagons page, I am debating between my weight tracker (actual weight on the last day of each month), a book of the month tracker, or a family fun bucket list for the year. Still deciding.
I bought the EC teacher dashboard to use for Flylady cleaning; Instead of before/after school, it's my morning/evening routine. There's a box for each day, and the reverse can be used for my bigger household projects or zone definitions (not sure yet). Best of all, I can change it whenever I need to! Great video, lots of good ideas. Thanks!
Has anyone ever asked Erin Condren what her thought was when she put the hexagon page in the back? I'm guessing she had some idea how it could be used and I'd be so curious what the actual planning thought was when she added it!
The 12 hexagon page could be used as a "12 things to keep in mind this year" page, or if you are maybe "12 people and things to pray for" or "Gratitude List-- one major thing from each month of the year"
I loved this! Thank you for walking through the entire planner and discussing your setup plans! I’m totally going to do your 1st and last day photo idea! PS: also thank you for the mention!
I'm all set up and excited to move in to my new planner. Set up is easy...I white out all the holidays I don't celebrate so that I get more writing room in the monthly layout (example "Independence Day" isn't important to me....Canada Day all the way!!!), glued the dashboards to the monthly pages (I'm not going to use them), and then set up the hexagon page with the months of the year (from a PK sampler) and am going to put monthly birthdays in it. I use the calendar for my kiddo's school schedule and I use my notes pages for notes throughout the year from various meetings/appointments etc, so I don't set them up. Just need this week to finish and then I'll pull all the pages I need to shred and recycle the rest of my old planner. I don't keep them.
I'm thinking of using the pastel octagon page (22:06) for family/kids service ideas, either at church or in the community. I always have good intentions but this would be a great reminder!
You can use the 12 hexagons for something you want to work on for your self. Such as learning a new language, learning to sew or studying for a certification.
Its funny how sometimes you need someone to give you permission to do things - especially for us perfectionists who worry about messing up! Thanks for giving me the courage to tear our my sticker sheets haha!
This was hugely helpful! You've helped me realize I need to switch to the academic year (july-june) instead of the 18 month! I get a new planner every July anyways, so it's time (even when I swear I'll use it for 18 months😂). I certainly want to be more intentional with my eclp this year. Thanks again for the video!
I love your idea of covering the other 6 months up with sticker paper. I could put my daughter’s class schedule and teacher contact info on that. Where do you get the sticker paper from?
I love love your ideas. I wanted to share what I do with that last folder page at the back of the EC planner. I put my mini ipad in the sleeve. It fits perfectly and when you have your elastic wrap around your planner it won't fall out. Hope this helps!!
I love your idea on the calendar page to do a first day pic and last day pic. my son starts kindergarten this year and i think this would be perfect. I'm definitely doing this :)
The weight loss hexagon page maybe use non scale milestones/goals instead of a pound loss number (down a jeans size, inches lost, successfully no sugar week etc)
I love the hexagons but the way they are put together on the last page, if you draw some lines, it looks like stepping blocks. I might use it that way to show progress on a yearly goal.
Julie... JaackJack just uploaded her move in video this week and OMG she had a brilliant idea for the hexagon page. She is using it, to go to places locally in her town that she's never been before. Like Museums, Restaurants etc. I thought that would be brilliant, especially to find new places to go with kids.
Going through videos as I start to think about set up in my Jan-Dec 2020 ECLP looking for inspiration. Did you ever figure out how to utilize the page with the 12 larger hexagons (some colorful some now color) I am so at a loss...
I ordered my very first planner that starts next year(21)12 months.I have been in planners that are allowing me to add and change pages easily but what I'm seeing these planners is that their is no creativity, not handmade dashboards or shaker covers, etc.am I wrong but are these planners just that the old style from the 90s where you had. A,B then prioritized from there.I'm starting to regret buying this.I got the tote and its hard for me to get used to.can you tell me is this the only planner you use and if not what makes this one good?also how long does it take for orders to come?thanks
how have you kept your spiral so pristine in your old planner?? in the past my spiral planners get totally busted in my backpack:( I'm looking for a new planner but I dont know if the Erin Condren planners do the same?
The EC coil is insanely strong and durable. I just bought 2 and I'm shocked everytime I touch them because I expect the weaker feel that typical spiral notebooks have
Hi Julie, new sub here. Do you have a video on how you recoiled your EC planner? And how do you use your hourly weekly layout? Going to checkout your channel.
Is the paper quality different now. As in is it on smoother white paper. Erin Condren used to have coursed yellowish paper that i do not like but from the video here it looks like much more smooth paper and it looks white.
I bought both a LP and DMP. I know what I want to do with the DMP but I'm at a loss with my lp. The boxes don't quite fit me, I think? But the longer I have it the more I want to keep it. I don't know what to do with it though. I know I can keep my budget together with the rest of my life which I would *love* to do, but it's easier to track and decorate my bullet journal... help
What are you doing to set up your new Planner?
Julie’s Plans love what y’all are doing with the note pages!💕 Q: What do the letter header “J, A, S, etc.” stand for?
Dannie Casper each month, July, August, September, etc. 🙂
@@tabathamarie Of course. . .silly me! LOL Thank you!

You can use the hexagon page to write down something you are proud you accomplished for the month. Like a gratitude page 😁
Maria Georgiades great idea! Thank you for sharing!

I used the 12 hexagon for a self care reminder.
Jennifer Riddell that’s what I’m thinking of doing too! Just struggling to think of 12 😂 so bad with self care sometimes
@@whimsycheer362 I have a pic on Instagram if you want to look. Jeniplanlife is my name on there. I used the wellness happy planner book for it.
Same. I am trying to come up with twelve meaningful reminders for that page, all for self-care.

My son graduates in 2021 too! I almost cried when I flipped through the new planner for the first time and saw 2021! Can’t deal!

I am using the 12 hexagons for my Book Club monthly book selection!
I LOVE your school calendar page with the first last day of school pic idea! Totally stealing it!!
Jen Wullstein yay! Glad you like it and thank you for watching!

I think I’m using the random 12 hexagon page to mark down one self care thing to do per month that I normally wouldn’t do for myself
Whimsy & Cheer love that!
I loved this! Thank you for walking through the entire planner and discussing your setup plans! I’m totally going to do your 1st and last day photo idea! PS: also thank you for the mention!
I love the weight goal rewards pages. Finally gonna have some use for those and the functional stickers that I never use!
I am using the same pages for gift ideas...will be for Christmas... so I'm going to color in the kaleidoscope to look like a poinsettia.
I am so excited to get this planner for the first time!!!
Been lurking economic planners over a year now

My treat yourself and rewards are also always Starbucks related 😂
Whimsy & Cheer glad its not just me!
Use the hexagons to document your acts of kindness, sent a friend a letter of encouragement......that kind of thing
I love your idea of covering the other 6 months up with sticker paper. I could put my daughter’s class schedule and teacher contact info on that. Where do you get the sticker paper from?
Melinda Dugosh I ordered mine on amazon! Any sticker paper will do!
You have some great ideas. I am using the last hexagon page for yearly goals.
Sue Anderson thank you and that’s a great idea!

That last page with the 12 hexagons i am going to use it to track my total weight loss for each month.... Or maybe for total books read per month.
I love your idea on the calendar page to do a first day pic and last day pic. my son starts kindergarten this year and i think this would be perfect. I'm definitely doing this :)

I love watching your videos!

I'm using my hexagon as fitness goals. List them out and then once completed bam, flip to your rewards page

the hexagon page could have a favorite memory or picture for each month
Sai Kaushika love that!
I am using the page with 12 hexagons to list date ideas
Great setup!
I’m using the hexagon page for birthdays. I used the PK months sampler to label each hexagon. 🤷🏼♀️ Hopefully I actually reference it. 😂

It doesn’t seem coarse to me. The quality has definitely improved over the years!
Love your video! Thank you for sharing! :)
great tip on the zipper for the pouch!
Tammy Skipper thank you!
Does the new planner have different timeslot measurements compared to previous
I don’t use the hexagon page either - just leave it as decorative. Doesn’t bother me at all!
Traci Wheatley I may leave as well!
Did you glue/tape pages together? Like the back side of the colorful monthly would have a colorful week right? Seriously considering doing this!

Hexagon 12 page / someone on IG posted about 12 different uses for it!
Love your channel and you are gorgeous!!
Lori McMahan thank you!
I am using the last hexagon page for passwords, but my life planner stays on my desk so I don't have to worry about anyone else seeing. :)
Jennifer Adam that’s a great idea!
I am using my hexagon page to track how many clients I see each month and what my total income was for the business.
Your hands were so tan in this video!
Hahahaha spring/summer time 🤣
Do you recommend the 6 by 9 or the larger planner?
Definitely the regular 7x9 size but I prefer the smaller one over the larger one!
I am using my 12 hexagons for my monthly savings challenge.
Sandra Doane ohhhh that’s a great idea!
I shocked at how many people spend the money and combine multiple planners. Isn’t it a waste??
Why do I want to color in your name?
