Love the classic, preppy looks, it's timeless It's rare to see made in the USA garments, keep it up, with 3D printing and automation, we can manufacture more & be competitive in the industry
Wish the Polo logo wasn't so prominently displayed on the jackets - looks like a walking advertisement. The style reminds me of preppy style from the early 80's. I think they need something a bit more current. RL should hire Jamal!
The honor of making the uniforms go to the highest bidder. I guess i am grateful they weren't made in china like last time. Ralph is passé. A blazer worn with worn out jeans - ooh so 90s!
Sports competitions move so many more further interests, yeah, I love it guys, sports business are always a great investment, the best marketing strategy, you can bet on it, big loving hug all sports lovers, keep up and encourage sports partnerships all schools and students, having the chance to give it a try 🎉❤🎉
Ralph Lauren is on a different level when it comes to clothing in the Olympics. When the Athletes walk out in the Opening Ceremony they're like having a fashion show.
Love team USA, I support them. But Ralph Lauren's uniforms are really bland and old school. There are plenty of more modern American designers who I'd think would do a much better job - Tom Ford, Calvin Klein, Vera Wang, Rick Owens, Telfar Clemens, Yoon Ahn, Marc Jacobs...
Not a fan. No one in professional sports wears RL, because they’re not known for sports wear. It shows because all of this looks retro (aka old fashioned) from the 80s. Sportswear has evolved so much since then. Let Nike show the world how “competitive” US athletes truly are!
You're being kind. These outifts are absolutely awful and the rest of the internet agrees on this point. RL is great for a certain demographic (country club older), but not when you actually want to bring your fashion A game. He needs to retire and pass the torch to Thom Browne. Just because it's been "tradition" that he's gotten the contract doesn't mean it's a good idea.
I wish Indian designers and government put so much passion into our athletes. No wonder why the United States Athletes are world class and indian athletes don't even come close to them.
Why are you crying so much people like you go on and cry at every platform and try to put shame on our national government it is true that athletes have not the absolute world class facility as of now but our government puts a lot of money more than usa actually if an athlete wins gold usa offers approx 35 k dollars and haryana govt alone gave money in crore to neeraj chopra gold medal winner or any medal winner along with central government also gave money in crores along with A category govt job for athletes usa doesn't offers any job most of the people in usa are those who fund olympic athletes why dont people like you who always cry and act in pathetic manner provide a small amount to athletes. So stop crying and making illogical arguments you pathetic ,stupid keyboard warrior
Thanks for the feature InStyle! We loved having you at our factory in NYC!
As a fashion designer this was amazing to see!
Love seeing the procurement, production process, and pride surrounding these special pieces. Team USA looks striking!
Always a fantastic look to the USA athletes!! I hope RL never loses the contract!!
This Jamal Hill guy has a big future in Fashion/Broadcasting, etc. He is very articulate and explains things really well.
Came here to make the same comment. Very charismatic indeed.
So cool the Uniforms are made in the USA and materials from all over the country - even Oregon!!! Awesome
Awesome look for Polo USA
I did not know about Jamal Hill before this but I'm now a fan. I'll have to follow his Olympic journey and track his tailored outfits!
me too! Such an eloquent man
Hearing from the athletes with such excitement and pride to wear these as well as the seeing the process… Excellent!
Thanks SO much for sharing the process and what it takes to outfit our athletes for the Olympics 🇺🇸
Love the classic, preppy looks, it's timeless

The all white motor outfit was a W I need it badly and the aviator jacket. All the specs valid too
Each piece has a unique look. That I can use in other outfits. Love them 🇺🇸 I want to collect them all
I love love the classic look.
seeing inside the factory was actually really interesting, i had no idea you could use 3d printing in sewing like that!
Made in America !!!
and..... no one bothered to mention they're MADE IN CHINA???
Just beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really interesting how the cutting edge technologies are leveraging the arduous processess when producing high quality outfits and deliver on time.

Beautiful Information, I would love for my Fashion Lines to do the same, one day. What an honor that is to have.
CONGRATULATIONS TO RALPH LAUREN. EVERYTHING LOOKS BEAUTIFUL♥️🤍💙👑😍🦅♥️🤍💙👑🦅
so cool, looks like astronaut outfits ,
Am I the only one obsessed with Jamal the swimmer
I like it that it wasn’t made in China.
Maybe not this uniform, but they do have factories in China, Italy, Portugal, England, India, Turkey, and Switzerland.
Wow, the best Athletes AND the best looking Athletes?!?!
Fortune favors the bold 😛
Congratulations good job.
Beautiful, the best team outfits so far for 2024.
Jamal is a vibe 🔥

I love the slightly 1980’s aesthetic. It was a more optimistic time back then.
The honor of making the uniforms go to the highest bidder. I guess i am grateful they weren't made in china like last time. Ralph is passé. A blazer worn with worn out jeans - ooh so 90s!
RL will make more money selling the merch than supplying the team. Also someone fix David's collar!
That was very interesting!
I just filled my shopping cart
pretty fly....id still go with the Champion Atlanta jacket though
🤯
Can we buy some of the pieces?

wow edi waw
fascinating!
Well, it's about time these clothes are made in America.Good lord China's been making these clothes for decades.
I think, only these outfits are not made in China Go Gold USA
Bring back the cuff!

I think the pieces were quite classy.
I prefer the old uniforms .
Not liking the blazer at all, especially with the jeans. It gives a more corny feel. From what I am hearing, it definitely wasn't a hit.
I will wear them as street wear.
wearing hurley in RL factory 😂
DID NOT LIKE THE OPENING CEREMONIES BLAZER.
The faded jeans, dad jeans, are you guys serious 😂. It didn't contrast well with the beautiful blazers
American Business Casual. Hey dad's make up a lot of America 😛
Too bad France decided not to put the athletes as the main focus in the opening ceremony. Couldn’t really see anything on those boats
Not a fan. No one in professional sports wears RL, because they’re not known for sports wear. It shows because all of this looks retro (aka old fashioned) from the 80s. Sportswear has evolved so much since then. Let Nike show the world how “competitive” US athletes truly are!
We don’t like it!!!!! The other countries came with so much heat. This wasn’t it
I think the jeans are WAYYY too casual for an Olympic ceremony, come on people seriously?
I thought the same my self. I love ❤️ the Blazer! I saw the outfits up close and it seems to work? I would’ve gone with a darker Jean wash.
Mongolia's uniform is much better.
Tired of RL's preppy style. Get somebody else, anybody else to SPICE up the Olympic uniforms. So boring!

This style is so tired.
He looks like the guy from sex lies and videotape
Hello 1980’s private school vibe. So boring and not representative of the America I know.
Maybe the America you know IS not the Real America maybe
I'm surprised they didn't go with Hilfiger.
Ewwww😂😂😂😂
American Fashion? Baggy, large T shirt, sneakers? No, thank you
I wish Indian designers and government put so much passion into our athletes. No wonder why the United States Athletes are world class and indian athletes don't even come close to them.
Team USA isn't funded by our government, but through private funding (American people donating to the cause + corporate sponsors) 😊

@@uuuuu9313 lol, an athelete who win medals in usa earns in millions of dollars in sponsorships from nike and others. U look like govt bot here.
Could they really not get people to stop talking off camera for the first few minutes? Disrespectful.
They need to do better designs. So boring!
and..... no one bothered to mention they're MADE IN CHINA??? 🤣🤣🤣
These are milled in the USA 🇺🇸 Hence the Price 💰
@@lisaroberts8556 stitched together in U.S.A. all the materials were definitely made in China.
It’s time to change designer. It’s the same look every 4 years. 🥱
Ralph Lauren has the rich reds, darkest navy’s and brightest whites.
