    Hope you enjoy this quick project! If you watch until the end you'll find out what's happening to my online scarf shop. Spoiler alert... it's closing forever so get bundled up in one of my handmade scarves asap :) much love and happy Thanksgiving! (to the Amuricans)

    Wonderful tutorial, young lady! I've been looking for an apron pattern, and this is perfect! I will definitely be using yours! Many, many thanks for this. You didn't mention this, but after you trim the ribbon ends how you want them, take a lighter and use the flame to quickly seal the edges..the flame will melt the ends, thus sealing them and preventing fraying (This works perfectly, I've done a fair amount of work with ribbon, and this works like a charm!) Thanks again, can't wait to pick my material and get started!

    This is great. Gets me in the sewing mood.
    Maybe it's just the polka dot design but this would be great with a sweetheart neckline.

    I am only beginning to sew and am always wondering why hemming is saved for last. It seems like it would be so much easier to just hem everything at the beginning and follow the rest of the steps!

    • @withwendy
      @withwendy  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Kathy Lau I tend to save hemming for the last because it's my final check to make sure everything is the length I wanted. When I sew without a pattern I play it safe and try to be generous with fabric, so that I can trim up the ends and hem to the perfect length.
