My favourite place on Tenerife. Las Llajas campground/barbecue area at 2,100 metres in the pine forest above Vilaflor. Hiking trails, BBQ hearths built from volcanic rock. There are water taps and picnic benches. The rangers used to leave a stack of firewood logs but none last time we went so take your own charcoal. Many blue birds and occasional lizards to be seen. There is a rustic restaurant with a horse hitching rail but it's rarely open. Best on a clear sunny day with no breeze. Bring a jacket, it's ten degrees cooler at that height than down at the beach. A good day out would be to start early, drive to the Cable Car station at Mount Teide. Spend some time there and return to Las Llajas for your bbq.
How does one commute and move around from the airport to the hotel or wherever we have to go. I am travelling next week solo and your feedback will be very helpful :)
Great list except the Loro Parque. There is no way you can keep dolphins and orcas in big enough tanks, it's not possible. Just recently an orca died again. They suffer tremendously and there are also documentaries on it. Those animals are so smart and social, being kept in such a small space with no social structures is unfair and cruel. Some even bang their head against the walls until they die.

To hike Masca trail a permit is necessary (as with the Teide top trail). The boot no longer operates so hiking back up is also a necessity. Visit Orotava, a beautiful town and the rainforest of Anaga.
Hi , I really like your video . I was missing my last trip at Tenerif and watching your video. We visited all places which you mentioned also enjoyed at banana farm and aloe vera farm . First time tasted cactus icecream at Masca village and it's taste amazing 😍.

I was sitting there, eating something at a restaurant called Tante Toos when planes flew into the twin towers. :( They showed it on a big screen without sound, I thought it was Discovery Channel or something but it was real.
Man you lost soo many good beaches in Anaga there's 3 beaches of black sand named BeniJo Taganana and almaciga, also the beach of Diego Hernandez in la caleta de adeja is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island and in this beaches no one goes, only the local people knows were their are trust me I'm one and these are my favorite beaches

My thought about zoo's is the fact that they save endangered species. If it wasn't for the people in the animals native countries hunting them they wouldn't need saving. In zoo's they're safe and stop these amazing animals from being extinct

Gosh no!I had to speed it up because it was too slow. You can manually slow or increase the speed of the video yourself. Just click on the three dots at the top right corner of the video and you’ll see an option to adjust the playback speed to your own liking. Either that or learn to listen faster 🤣🤣

@macaco860 All North Africa belong to Berbers, from Siwa in Egypt to Acanary ( it means in Berberlanguage the land of cactusfruit). Canary islands they are in Moroccan territorial waters. 200 years ago was Algeria, Mauritania, Tunesia, Lybia and Morocco one land!

Gosh no!I had to speed it up because it was too slow. You can manually slow or increase the speed of the video yourself. Just click on the three dots at the top right corner of the video and you’ll see an option to adjust the playback speed to your own liking. Either that or learn to listen faster 🤣🤣
