The early PRS chassis Rotax twin engines were good designs that were dependable if you kept up on the monitoring and maintenance of the fuel system. If you find the relative spec criteria get it running at temperature and have some patience tuning, these sleds will perform well and hold on to reliability, performance and handling. My formula's run best "right to the bar" gaining and pulling all the way! Short intervals of 10 minutes between high and low rpm's heating up and cooling down. If you listen to the engine you can hear how hot it is running and govern your throttle accordingly. Ride safe and according to conditions and terrain.
Aughhh yes..beautiful workout and near stroke befor you enjoy you snowmobile drive..nothing quite like it.wish I had a dollar for ever time I pulled the damm cord trying to get a deed going.lol.
That sled just needed a complete Carburetor rebuild! Needle and seed weren’t sealing anymore to allow fuel to leak out of carburetor overflow hoses probably and flooding the engine also. $50 fix and it would of been starting like new again and so on. 😅
When trailering or letting your sled sit shut the gas off, those as you know have 2 fuel pumps, did those needles have rubber or viton tips? I'm buying a 93 mach 1 670.

Correct priming, every Rotax is different inho I've had several with primers, 3 primes then leave primer OUT ANDCREADY FOR 4TH IF IT STARTS TO DIE, than good fir rest of day.
