Great talk with Torey! I can see why Daewon is his inspiration. I had the chance to film and skate with him at the Red Bull Demo in New Orleans. He landed a Switch Flip Crooks Half Cab Flip out at a demo and I filmed it and uploaded it to my channel. Torey has inspired me the same way.
I'm starting to get back into skating again after not for 6 years. Decks are too big now and I've never got a bum set of bones reds til now. Bought Daewons pro bearings and gave my brother the wax neat package tho lol. Hard to get the energy to go out and skate nowadays working 12 hour shifts that fuck my feet up in the factory. Gonna do it though. Watchin Daewon videos got me hyped to skate again.

Last time I skated I learned I need to care less so I can have more effort skating with the 18 year olds. Cant wait to be tearing it up I also work nights so I get all my favorite spots all to myself.

I hate all the dare devil sjating. Its cool to see someone do something that hasnt been done but other then that its pretty lame, have fun and work on your skills and get better, beating your body down is not the right direction. Skate ledges, flat and whatever else and be creative.
Really Transworld, what was the point of doing the Eli Reed Deawon video to turn right around and bite yourself with another. Shoulda at least threw someone else in between these two at least. Variety in your content even though we all consider Deawon our favorite skater.
