I just finished watching the episode and learned that it wasn’t done so I had to google since we now live in 2023. So sad to learn that it’s not inhabited by the original owners who had put everything they had into building it. Still, hats off to them for the stunning concept!

What a melancholy house! In these places where the sky is always cloudy and the sun is weak, where there are no forests, the house should never be white because the feeling it gives us is one of absolute desolation.
The owner left the kitchen undone and left most of the house as a blank canvas so the new owner can design it the way they want.. which in these brand new houses make a lot of sense. The owner kinda suffered a lot of trauma with the build of this house tbf, plus he was supposed to live there with his family but the marriage ended so can't blame him for not wanting to finish it..
Holy shit! The "grand design" nightmare house is actually for sale. Absolutely a memorable episode, a monument to hubris. That poor man's wife put up with so much.
You need to be crazy to buy this house because weather is rubbish house design is rubbish interior design rubbish you can spend half of that Dubai or Florida sunset
