Yes. It's definitely a unique weapon, it won't accept 10mm mods and it uses less AP in VATS. If the Swatter is considered a unique weapon, so should the Deliverer
@@firefi1960 Fallout 4 isn't actually random with the Alien Blaster. At a certain level you'll ALWAYS see the spaceship crash and then just have to go to the spot and get it

@@firefi1960 Yeah I double checked myself, at level 20 after fast traveling outside or just walking outside for a while you'll see the crash, sometimes even as far as the Museum of Witchcraft, and companions will comment on it. It's not really "random" like some of the other encounters.
At 2:40. Preston is actually programmed not to do damage to the enemies in the museum. He keeps their attention by firing to give you movement opportunity. Otherwise it's a glitch, but it's been a consistent one if that's the case.

way to few weapons fist, dagger, sword, axe, greatsword, greataxe, greathammer, bow, crossbow, fork and then we come to magic/shouts which are a bit more dificult to classify... do the shots to call down anduin count? would damaging shouts count like grenades in this one? and each spell category once (aka all three projectile spells count as one type regardles of element (same with beam and glyph and all the other sets) its been to long since i actually played the game so i cant remember all teh diferent types of spells but i would guess that you would get to roughly ~20 ish different weapons...
I was hoping at the very end you would have gone out of your way to kill a rad-roach with your fists or something and declared you couldn't beat the game only using every weapon once.

You don’t need to talk to Preston and friends to use the workbench in Sanctuary. You can use it as soon as you finish Codsworth’s initial mission. I had one play through where I never left Sanctuary. Had no trouble building up a passing settlement (once I managed to get a crystal decanter to spawn in the makeshift bunker).
You can actually skip the whole concord bit by going straight to goodneighbour and going to the memory den. You relive the death of nora/nate and dr. whatever suggests you go find Valentine to help you locate your son. It would have saved you a few weapons that you used to help the minute men there.

How about a run where you can only use the weapon looted from the last enemy you killed? If you want to make it challenging, you could also restrict yourself to ammo looted from bodies as well.
This video may be old, and i had an idea: can you beat Fallout 4 as a Wasteland Samurai? The goal is to play the entire game with only the mod weapon Tsuki no Hana, which is a rusted katana that can become sharpened later on.
Go watch Many a true Nerd's various fallout challenge runs. There's one called 'you only live once' where he plays through fallout:NV and all of its dlc on one health bar. No healing. No radaway.
A few weapons in the base game wich were not used: Junk jet, combat shotgun, plasma, shishkebab (you will need to kill at least one guy for it, so it's undertandable), pulse granede, all the mines, boxing gloves, power fist and many others that I don't remember

This might not be the right venue for this, but honestly, the impression I got was that that system just allowed for the removal of Artifact weapons, that is, ones that had a unique effect and appearance, under the idea that one could make their own unique weapons, with their own unique names, effects, and appearances. It also meant, granted, that there was more of a variety in the enemy weapons, even if the enemies were all of the same faction and rank therein. Even so, I cannot help but hate this system. Again, I see it as removing the Artifacts found in the base-game, replacing them with Legendary weapons (weapons with their own unique effects, but no unique appearance and no story to them as was often found with artifacts in previous games) and customization. I've always thought of artifacts as one of the high-points of Bethesda's games. It also turned me into a hoarder for random junk items, something I viewed as more obligatory than actually fun. For these reasons, I honestly hate the customization system in Fallout 4.
The system itself is pretty robust, it only takes a look at some of the fantastic mod guns on the Nexus (the RU556 stands out) to see that. The thing that made it suck is Beth doing their thing and treating it as a mod resource rather than a feature. The real issue is they were lazy about modelling new weapons and attachments. Weapons the base game offers (especially the conventional firearms) are limited and ugly, and the "legendaries" are mostly boring and useless compared to proper uniques. That's why so many people main the Deliverer; it's not only the only unique gun in the base game, it's also the only realistically designed and proportioned firearm in the base game.
@@XH1927 Relatedly, is The Silver Shroud armor the only artifact armor? It's been a while since I played, but I can't think of any other unique pieces/sets in the vanilla game. That is one piece of praise I do give to the DLCs, as if I'm not mistaken, they do add a few artifacts, both weapons and armors.
If you kill a courser, get it analysed, and go to the institute with a different faction before going with Deacon, they won't attack you. If you don't do anything that make everyone hate you, you can do the battle of bunker hill with everyone liking you as well.
you can place a frag mine behind skinny malone and kill all of them in one shot while they are still passive. just place the mine and step back then engage in dialogue
What you should’ve done instead of each time you get a kill you drop the weapon you used. You can pick up the same weapon as long as it’s not the one you just used
You should have struck the final blow with a walking cane. I think you also forgot about the boxing glove. Maybe a "can you beat Fallout 4 with only dogshit melee weapons" playthrough, pool cues and all.
Easiest way to get decent armor early: Go to diamond city, bring a pack or mole rats or mongrels or anything to put up a fight against the guards. After enough tries, a guard will die and you can loot is armor.

There are a few key points in each game that removes rads. Fnv in the big Mt and some vaults in F4

Objectively, I suppose so. This might not be the right venue for this, but honestly, the impression I got was that that system just allowed for the removal of Artifact weapons, that is, ones that had a unique effect and appearance, under the idea that one could make their own unique weapons, with their own unique names, effects, and appearances. It also meant, granted, that there was more of a variety in the enemy weapons, even if the enemies were all of the same faction and rank therein. Even so, I cannot help but hate this system. Again, I see it as removing the Artifacts found in the base-game, replacing them with Legendary weapons (weapons with their own unique effects, but no unique appearance and no story to them as was often found with artifacts in previous games) and customization. I've always thought of artifacts as one of the high-points of Bethesda's games. It also turned me into a hoarder for random junk items, something I viewed as more obligatory than actually fun. For these reasons, I honestly hate the customization system in Fallout 4.
The system itself is pretty robust, it only takes a look at some of the fantastic mod guns on the Nexus (the RU556 stands out) to see that. The thing that made it suck is Beth doing their thing and treating it as a mod resource rather than a feature. The real issue is they were lazy about modelling new weapons and attachments. Weapons the base game offers (especially the conventional firearms) are limited and ugly, and the "legendaries" are mostly boring and useless compared to proper uniques. That's why so many people main the Deliverer; it's not only the only unique gun in the base game, it's also the only realistically designed and proportioned firearm in the base game.
@@XH1927 Relatedly, is The Silver Shroud armor the only artifact armor? It's been a while since I played, but I can't think of any other unique pieces/sets in the vanilla game. That is one piece of praise I do give to the DLCs, as if I'm not mistaken, they do add a few artifacts, both weapons and armors.

If you kill a courser, get it analysed, and go to the institute with a different faction before going with Deacon, they won't attack you. If you don't do anything that make everyone hate you, you can do the battle of bunker hill with everyone liking you as well.
you can place a frag mine behind skinny malone and kill all of them in one shot while they are still passive. just place the mine and step back then engage in dialogue
You don’t have to save the minutemen from the raiders to progress. You can just go straight to diamond city

What you should’ve done instead of each time you get a kill you drop the weapon you used. You can pick up the same weapon as long as it’s not the one you just used

You should have struck the final blow with a walking cane. I think you also forgot about the boxing glove. Maybe a "can you beat Fallout 4 with only dogshit melee weapons" playthrough, pool cues and all.

Easiest way to get decent armor early:
Go to diamond city, bring a pack or mole rats or mongrels or anything to put up a fight against the guards. After enough tries, a guard will die and you can loot is armor.
