@@nelsoncarrera7805 bakit nga ba walang ground mga water dito pag iniiinstall? Sabi sa amin ilang beses na na wala daw nagiging problema kung walang ground. Pero nakalagay mismo sa appliance box and manual kalakilaki na "This appliance must be earthed". Kaso nung nilagyan naman ng ground yung water heater namin, same model nito, nakukuryente naman kami. Nung tinanggal yung grounding wire, wala na problema. Papalagyan ko ng GFCI outlet with weatherproof cover yung outlet sa banyo namin and ibabalik namin ang ground wire. Any of you have done the same?

This was an exact replacement for the old one that lasted about 10 years. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx7yWIKcrbA9KMHkGSfcgxW2lsjHT6B8Sh The top of my mitigation tube by my roofline was just a 90 elbow which allowed too much debris to fall down into the fan, eventually ruining it. Without this issue, I bet it would have kept running another 10 years. When I replaced this fan, I added an extra elbow joint so the top tube now it does a 180, which should solve that problem. The radon guys around here wanted to charge me a $300 diagnostic fee, then parts/labor (probably close to $600 total). I installed this all by myself in about an hour for the cost of the fan; it would probably be even easier/faster with two people. FYI the manufacturer's warranty greatly differs depending on whether you install it yourself (1 yr warranty) or have a licensed installer do it (10 yrs).

Meron na po syang built in ELB o electric leakage breaker. Meaning, automatic mag shut off po pag nag short ang kuryente. Kaya safe po itong panasonic 😊
may mga specific outlet po kase na para sa shower heater or aircon , sample yung omni 20A na outlet, Goods na goods po siya sa shower heater, hindi kayo pwede gumamit ng basta basta na outlet or extension, may outlet po para sa mga items na yan

We have two shower water heaters. One made by Jett which has a grounding wire provided and a Panasonic which doesn't have one. Both are single point. Both served our family well for many many years. Not one electrocution. If you are afraid, just buy the brand which has provision for grounding. If your present unit does not have one, it is relatively easy to wire up the ground. If not that handy, you'd better hire someone to do it for you.

mayroon ELB (earth leakage breaker) provision sa heater but no earthing connection from heater to wall outlet. wala din earth wire connection means sa wall socket outlet, so balewala ung ELB, it will not provide protection against leakage current. obviously, this is an electrically unsafe installation.

The cable should have also been clamped, there's a note in there telling you it must be clamped
I wish you would have mentioned the three-way antibacterial plate that It's supposed to come with.
I sometimes forget to switch off the heater..after I close the taps, would it still draw current?

Ilang amp po yung breaker? Nakabit din po ba yung ground wire? Same heater. Pero walang idea yung electrician kung pano iground yung unit kasi 2 line lang daw yung amin.
Ipapaayos pa po namin yan kasi hindi po grinound ng Technician ni Panasonic. 😞
Question po, what does it mean if the red light on the ELB indicator is on?
As per technician yung ELB daw po is to prevent electric shock. If its turned on then may electric current daw po na nagfloflow sa heater.

We went to ace hardware earlier and ang sabi nung salesman hndi na daw sila nag iinstall ng ground wire. Kaya hnd ako bmili coz i read here na its dangerous without it.

@Filipina Momma, Hindi po safe yung ginawang installation sainyo. Pwede kayo makuryente or worse, ikamatay pa. Kumunsulta kayo sa isang legit na electrician
1. Dapat may ground ang heater, na nakakabit sa ground ng panelbox, or grounding rod sa labas ng bahay
2. Yung outlet sa banyo, dapat palitan ng GFCI outlet
3. Mas maganda kung diretso sa Circuit Breaker ang linya. Maganda din kung mayroong RCCB/RCBO sa inyong breaker.

Thank you sa detailed info po, we stopped using the unit nung nabasa namin yung mga comments here na hindi daw grinound nung technician yung unit so ngayon ipapaayos namin yung installation sa ibang technician since naninindigan si Panasonic na safe naman daw gamitin since may safety features naman daw yung unit pero siyempre much better pa din kung ipa double check namin. Maraming salamat ulit and pasensya na ngayon lang nakapag reply. Stay safe

Ang nipis po ng wire na ginamit at hindi nilagyan ng ground wire. Yun papel po na malapit sa dulo ng screwdriver sa 5:09, nandun yun screw for grounding.

depende sa wattage ng waterheater kong 3500 watts tama lng ang 3.5 mm with 20A na ckt brkr.

Hello.. i have sa same unit. Ang napansin ko: if NAKASABIT ang shower head, same level sa water heater unit, ayaw uminit ng tubig. If hahawakan ko shower head then lagay ko WAIST level ko, bigla siyang iinit then tsaka ko isasabit ulit. Ganito din ba sa inyo?

Hello! Probably hindi mahigpit yung pagkaka connect ng hose sa heater kaya may parang leak pag ginagamit. I think kailangan mo ipacheck yan kasi sayang naman kung hindi mo magagamit. 😞

Hello! I am not sure sa effect sa electric bill since we always turn it off but as per the technician best practice is to always turn it off so that the product will last longer. He advised us to turn off the faucet first then the heater. 😊 I hope this helps. Have a good day!

It would be useful to explain why the socket is so high up on the wall ie: Any outlet other than a shaver socket must be located at least 3 meters away from your tub or shower enclosure. No explanation of the power requirements or plumbing done. Better next time....

Yes, its normal here in the Philippines, a panasonic electrician was the one who actually installed it.

These are not safe, in my opinion. It should have the capability to be grounded. We have one in our rental house here in Philippines and I just got a mild shock from the handle and metal cord. That's when I found out it is only 2 wire. This is not safe and I will be having it disconnected.
Panasonic Heater must be installed by Panasonic Technician, else warranty is void. But I will be installing mine also due to service fees and other miscellaneous fees hahaha then scheduling of personnel required..should have bought other brands.
Hi! Yes it was installed by a Panasonic technician however the technician did not ground the unit as per comments on this video so ill be scheduling a new team to fix it to avoid any accident 🙂
