In this video I tierlist over 30 different fidget toys to figure out which ones are good and which ones are bad. There's so many fidget toys out there of questionable quality, so hopefully this helps you choose which ones you want! You have no idea how validated i feel to know that someone else has a problem with rubber things leaving a smell on their hands. I love having things to do with my hands but that’s my biggest turnoff for most squeeze toys
I have the same problem but for metal things, i just hate the smell so bad. i usually dont even eat with metal cutlery but with wooden chopsticks instead.
why do you think they do that? I have a stress ball like that and a weird smell has never been an issue for me

I work as a Doordash driver and I keep a rainbow slug toy in my car to use in-between orders. I love it! My favorite toy is a multi-colored silicone wheel that spins like a fidget spinner. I also have an axolotl filled with sand but it was really cheaply made. I love the little goober but I wish it was higher quality

What does skrunkly mean? Just asking.
I do not know for the life of me what it's called, but there's this sensory toy that's like a set of five or six mobius strips woven together like a bracelet, and it feels so unbelievably satisfying to put it on your wrist and let gravity run it down your arm. Not very portable and a bit obnoxious that you need to visibly move your body to use it, but the tactile stimulation makes up for it.

There’s actually a better version of the popit toys with plastic frames instead of being all rubber. My mom got two of them for me one year for my birthday and they were SO much better than the rubber ones. They aren’t flimsy in the slightest, and the pops are much more satisfying.

If you like them but are looking for a silent version, I've found the smaller keychain ones to be mostly quiet.

at 14:52 and 16:09 ("it's broken and i cannot fix it"), i actually do own this and you can try to *actually* fix it (tangles usually have connectors), but it's really hard to do it considering the fact that it's literally a tangle but covered with some rubber thing that you can take it off if you don't need those
same thing appeals to other tangles if you accidentally break it (except if the connectors are broken stuck on the other)
Stress balls are extremely variable. I have one I got at an autism event and it's so perfect - small enough to fit in pockets, firm enough to be satisfying but not enough to cramp my hands, and covered in soft fabric so there's no rubber scent! It's my favorite fidget by far. You really do need to go out and squeeze a ton of different balls before you can find one that works.
That last sentence had me for a second-

As an autistic child, I like having fidgets that I can fidget with while doing work. I also like having small, squishy and waterproof thingys that I can sometimes chew on. And I have this idea that if I get a playbutton, I'd get a custom one with fidgets gluedbon on it lol
I realized that pongon is actually a comfort TH-camr to me! The way they speak actually makes me pay attention. I pay attention if the topic is interesting or the person speaking has a nice voice and pongon actually ha both of those! :3

Word of warning: if you get a tangle, I have had mine for over a year, but it is made of individual piece, which do come together, the problem is is that recently one of the clips my pieces used to clip onto the thing broke off, and it is irreplaceable, just keep in mind that if you use it to much some pieces may break

I agree with this tier list, but honetly, Idk about the stress balls being in the bottom tier, It's another case like the magnet fidgets, if you got them in the right material, they can be REALLY satisfying to use :)

My favorite fidget is a clay fidget chip I got on Etsy a few years ago. It doesn’t have any moving parts or anything fancy, but it does have a few different textures I enjoy (unglazed ceramic with a raised wood-grain texture on the front, smooth glazed ceramic on the back, and ridged glazed ceramic around the sides). It is especially useful for me to prevent skin picking

Force cubes are Rubik's cubes with one color only and it's done with a 4d Rubik's cube, which is based from the computer program, it looks like that because a 4D cube cannot be done physically.

The "Stress" balls are more for people who have problems with moving their hands like arthritis and people with problems like that squeeze them so they can move a bit their hands more and not making the problem worse

Fidget toys are all about maximizing my efficiency and *not* distracting me, so the ones that do nothing but give your hand something to do are the best ones imo. Like the infinity cube and the chain links 17:35 I have the chain links fidget, have used it regularly for like ten years and it is genuinely my favorite fidget toy of all time. You basically just flip them over and spin them and you can pull the rubber rings in the center over the little cylinders. I also like to hold one link and then shake the other. It’s pretty satisfying at least in my opinion.
That’s why fidget toys all come down to personal preference

A pop toy I'd recommend can be found at dollar tree. I don't remember what it's called.
There's only two big different colored bubbles, one on each end of a plastic frame with a small hole in between. They're very satisfying to prime and pop. And once you get your fingers into the groove of punching them in, rotating and flipping the toy around to poke em back out; gets real addicting. 😊

My favorite “fidget toy” (kinda stretching the definition here but still) is slime. I’m really tired of people saying “it’s not a trend anymore! Slime is dead!” Because why would I like something just because it’s a trend? It’s just fun to squish and pop, and the stickiness doesn’t really bother me. Some types of slime, like ones with instant snow in them aren’t sticky at all, either. Though my favorite textures are probably butter slime, thick slime, and jelly slime. If anyone out there is thinking of trying slime as a fidget toy just to relieve stress or have something to do with your hands, I recommend Slime Obsidian, Slime OG, or Dope Slime (Dope Slime especially because they have an option to order a smaller container, which costs less, if you don’t want too much.) Just don’t get storebought stuff because it’s a really mixed bag. The handmade stuff from smaller businesses is always gonna be better quality, even though it is more expensive. Some things to look out for are fragrances, if you’re sensitive to them, and the texture you chose. Slime Obsidian, for example, lists different textures on whether they’re beginner friendly, which just means whether or not people who haven’t played with slime before are likely to get it all over their hands because it’s a little sticky lol. I’d recommend a butter slime because they’re not very sticky, and they’re super smooth and soft. Anyways sorry for the tangent, I just think more people should know that slime isn’t just a 2016 trend for 12 year olds. It’s actually a really fun, stress relief toy, like putty. If you’re like me and something in your brain tells you you need to always be touching or messing with something, slime is great!

They are just so satisfying to listen to and use! I don’t care that they are sticky because many types of slime aren’t sticky! Seriously, if you are looking for a good fidget then I’d recommend Dope Slime

I have a fidget spinner in the shape of a ship’s steering wheel and it’s way better than the 1 dollar garbage fidget spinners that seemingly lost efficiency VERY FAST.The steering wheel was a 10 dollar metal fidget spinner with a missing part(that is very important mind you)and it still functions quite well(it’s useable at least).
I have a practice balisong (butterfly knife) that i love to fidget with. Learning a single open and close is a great fidget but also leads to if you wanna learn more tricks there's a very high skill ceiling.

I got my first fidget cube from winning a lottery at my high school’s trivia night and I still use its buttons years later to play along with custom Rhythm Heaven remixes on TH-cam since I don’t have a 3DS anymore. It’s like a tiny game controller from my dreams.

Fidget spinners are a classic, but the feel is the important part. Too metallic or too plasticky is awful.
since this reply I've actually found a couple that work for me! the fidgit pad is really nice for every day use, especially for conversations, but I also found the NeeDoh Nice Cube for when I want to stretch and pull. if Polygon Donut wants to give stress balls another go I'd recommend that; it's the least smelly stress ball I've tried.

A really good toy that can function like a fidget is the Whip Creamer II made by Hot wheels, the windshield can move up & Dow in a really satisfying way to the point where it’s a toy car & super dope fidget

Great video. As someone with ADHD I’ve been fully embracing the fidget toys so it’s good to know which are good and which to avoid. Btw my absolute favourite fidget toy is Stim Magz. They are absolutely exceptional and well designed. If you ever do a part 2 I guarantee they’ll be at the top of your list!
P.S. I think the finger rings you tried are actually better if you get the official product called FinGears, the knock off versions are really low quality magnets.
