At this point I think most people know that some individuals deal with very uncommon and sudden circumstances by laughing -- it's just a natural response that some have (the typical example is laughing at a funeral, where the distress is so great that the laugh is what comes out for whatever reason)...

Can't blame anyone being overwhelmed by a show, that displays such a massive amount of death, not being comedic, and from an animated show, no less. Some people deal with their sense of shock with laughter. I've witnessed a person deal with a sudden tragic announcement with laughter, waiting for a reveal that it's just all a sick prank or joke.
Imagine a perfect world, where nothing bad ever happens, in that world your friend lying to you about their favorite color could feel like a huge betrayal. Also, many people think that he hasn’t changed after what he said about Debbie, but I think he was just lying and trying to put on a mask to cover up the fact that he changed. This is why I love when Mark shouts LIAR and start unloading haymakers on him!

Maybe this was from the comics? When Omni-Man crushed Red Rush's head, it lasted less than a second but probably felt like hours of agony to Red Rush. Omni-Man has the opposite problem. According to Comic Vine, no Viltrumite is ever stated to pass the mark of 100,000 years old. To make calculations simple, let's equate 80,000 years Viltrimite life span and 80 years Human life span. Let's also assume Viltrumites feel time with the same ratio applied.
