    Nothing is EVER coming out of a microwave crispy, so I feel like that was a silly statement. That meal probably would have been awesome in an air fryer or convection oven.

    Try them in the oven. I want crispy to be crispy. None of the meals take longer than 20 minutes to heat up.

      Thanks for the comment! You can look under Sides I believe. They used to be under Treats. But they might not offer desserts in all areas.

      Thanks for the comment! COOKUNITY has hundreds of meals to choose from each week so I’m sure you can find some right for you. If you go to the website and click on the 3 lines in the upper left you will see a list of options including the Menu.

    Can the meals be frozen? Looks like the expiration dates are too soon.

    • @MealFinds
      @MealFinds  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the comment! Yes, you can freeze the meals but they recommend using them before the expiration date/use-by date. So that doesn’t give you more time really. I haven’t tried freezing myself but I have eaten meals a day or so after the use-by date.

    • @tanikokishimoto1604
      @tanikokishimoto1604 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I've frozen them for a week or two. The eat by dates really only pertain to if you don't freeze something.

      @@tanikokishimoto1604 thanks! I haven’t tried that but have heard it can work for most meals.

    Imagine paying for a food service cooked by a real chef...saving so much time, and not be willing to put it in the oven for 10 minutes...making the flavor 2x better.

      @MealFinds  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the comment! You can put the meals in the oven, but I know most like the convenience of the microwave. I’ve now tried both 👍🏻

    Either the reviews are artificially inflated, or more likely, the business has not planned for it's growth. Because the customer service at this business is the very worst. Late shipments and deliveries leading to spoiled and useless meals. Continuous refusal to rectify their own mistakes on orders and billing. Hiding behind their own jacked policy to not provide refunds. They only offer credit toward your next delivery. Do not use this service to plan your meals. You will waste your own time.

      Thanks for the comment! I have not had that experience (I’m in PA), but I have heard that others have had issues with late deliveries and customer service. I wonder if it’s certain locations?

      Michigan. Same. and everything is so spicy it's hard to eat. Even if not marked as spicy. Also there is seafood product/ingredients in nearly every meal so it's hard to filter them out. If you're watching your fat or weight these meals have up to 45+grams of fat in a tray/serving and some over 1100 calories. If you filter to only eat lowfat there's not much there but rice for $11 a serving. Customer service is via email only and they're just a lot of thanks for the info.

      It being "too spicy" sounds like a person from Michigan problem. Or just a personal problem. I've had a fresh habanero with my breakfast before.

      completely true on all points of this comment.....one piece of advice is to purchase this though your credit card issuer....they (Cook Unity) tried to hide behind their predatory policies, and I just got a refund through my credit card. I took advantage of their half-off promotion and ordered 16 meals...then cancelled my next 2 weeks while I worked through eating the meals that I just ordered. While on their website, I noticed that my delivery dates were 'every Friday'...and changed it to 'every Monday'. The lovely ppl at Cook Unity then charged my card for 16 meals to be delivered that same up-coming Monday...which is the Monday after my big order of 16 meals. no refund was offered and they advised me to 'freeze' the meals. I'm into my 12th meal and will say only 2 of them were decent. I'll spare my food reviews....but the overall business is super shady and doesn't seem to aim towards retaining the customers who are trying their product. smh.

    way to many ingredients listed. i saw soybean oil. in a lot of those. i would avoid for your own health. there is a video that came out talking about most peoples health problems is because of highly processed foods. and how seed oils are the cause of most peoples health problems in the past 50 years.
