She questioned where the filmmakers drew the line when it came to the "asian-ness" of the cast and there was some hint that it was about Henry because he's mixed race. She's apologized to him though, it just makes me feel bad he dealt with so much criticism.
It's only an issue when they market it as an all Asian cast. But main character and Jinggim add up to at least 1 whitey. They should just own it instead of saying all Asian cast.
To be fair, the criticism went back to her when she said that, and for some whatever reason she thought it was a smart thing to tweet “I will one day have my own hapa babies...lots of them”. 😒 like um wtf
