Everyone wishes they did this.
Miraculous that tent didn't leak. My wife and I went camping at Bahia Honda State Park back when all tents would leak a slow drip, drip that would soak your bedding in a couple hours and make life miserable. We tied a tarp over our tent, just touching the top and tied off to the sides, mainly to have the tent in the shade with airflow between the tarp and tent. Everyone else was soaked the next morning

Hello Lynn, The tent has short posts for the rain fly, I used some bungees from the two side posts to the grommets in the tarp. Nothing fancy and works pretty well. Thanks for watching!
actually, after looking again, on this trip I used a couple tarp clamps - clamps used to add a eyelet where none exists. simply clamping the tarp and fly together at the ends and center. Thanks for watching!

Brings to mind the option of finding islands with the possibility of trees for future campouts, just in case winds pick up. Camera doesn't do the size if those waves justice. Glad to see the boat is capable in thise size waves because just about done with my inflatable boat.
You are right, I watched the video and it looked like not much - when you are in the waves it looks much different. I was happy to be in a inflatable - that sure removes a lot of stress. Hope your boat works awesome! Thanks for watching
