An OZ BYD atto 3 owner for 5 month now, done 9000kms plus, so far very happy with the car, smooth, quiet, comfortable and very smart. Charge at home with 7.4kw charger at night, so fully charged every morning, not more worry about the fuel price and go to service stations. Only cost $3.5 per 100Kms from my power provider. Heat the car to 25 degree and the drivers seat from my mobile before I get in is just so nice. So when the dolphin on sale, I ordered one for my wife. People never own an EV will never know how good they are and how safe compare with ICE's. In terms of the price, all the Chinese cars not allowed to sell cheap overseas as they will be sanctioned if they drop the price close to Chinese market price. Atto3 just AU$30k in China, Dolphine only AU$22k, every tesla model is 25-30k cheaper in China.
Tells you how much more addressable the market Chinese EV has with that kind of price. Chinese EV is growing fast in SEA.

They are the testing the Byd seal in South Australia it is pretty much going to be here in AUS
I have got my hands on a Denza D9 for a day, DMI version, it is so good to drive and comfy. NVH is one of the top. (I have owned BMW F10 535i and now I am driving a Model 3)
Hope Chinese interiors put the world on alert. They rock

@@CarSauce Just found out the Seal unveiling will be between 10am to 5pm on Friday 15th September at the new BYD Megastore in Alexandria NSW.
17:35 Tip: to avoid light flickering (building, not cars), you can set your camera’s frame rate to be compatible with the country’s electricity frequency. Germany is on 50Hz, so set your camera to 25 or 50 fps (PAL). And obviously stick with the one frame rate for a single video.

EUR118.000 for this E class? And it starts from 87K euros? And do I have to add VAT?
I remember in my times it was only like 65-70K for a decent one. Almost 120K euros, I wonder how they will price the S class, like 200k euros. It was German taxi for decades. Sure it's luxury by price but wonder how many want to pays for it in current German economy.
I mean if I look at the car prices in China it's like 40-60k euros you find way better EVs than this E class (and we talk about over 600bhp and 3 secs acceleration and superb tech and luxury)

Actually Japanese brand paid a lot efforts on hydrogen technology, it looks they lag behind in EV technology and product.
@@boyang4532Ironically, despite Toyota pushing hydrogen, their hydrogen cars suck. Hyundai have the only interesting hydrogen powered car lol

Makes you wonder where Mercedes gets the ev tech from, especially when byd and catl supply majority market

The GTi concept has hondas old katana design headlight
To be more accurate the seal and seal u (suv) version besides the look has nothing to do with each other. Not same platform and won't be produced with the same elctric engines at all with acceleration of 9.0s with 200 ish hp
Edit: the seal u is based on a gasoline platform etc.
Very interesting video, thank you! A couple of opportunities for improvement if I may: try avoiding the expressions "really cool", "very cool" and "check out". They just seem to be a bit overused in this video. And perhaps move the camera a bit more slowly. Keep up the good work!

(18 Male Australian) I now NEEED an XEV. I loveeeeee small cars. I may do a lot of highway driving but idc if I hold up a Ram TRX behind me. He can just admire the beauty I would be driving
I assume you had a nice wander, but it would be really helpful if you didn't go "Harry Potter mode" and wave your camera/phone around like a magic wand when you look inside the cars. You can't really focus your eyes at that motion blur.

MG already sold to China long ago, and now the Chinese design the cars with the Chinese newest technology.
@@LH1xxif u see MG cars in India they have badge called Brit dynamic means that it is a British designed and MG cars are designed in UK. But sadly they are made in china. But with Jindal Group buying 50 percent of MG stake in India… MG cars are going to be MADE IN INDIA
@@kartikjindal2151 Only the outside look was designed in the UK by the Brits and the Chinese designers. But the technology inside belongs to China, the UK doesn't have EV technology. Made in India MG cars are for Indians only, no one wants cars made in India.
German cars are going out of business soon as the people work out they have poor reliability and rip off options list
Most premium German cars you can purchase today are very reliable. They shouldn't give you any trouble, apart from a couple of sensors and very minor fixes, before 200k. In exchange your fluids and tire pressure are always being monitored by the vehicle. Most of everything else is automated too, you just drive the car and leave it, it will lock itself and turn the lights off.

Driven and worked on BMW. My experience made me to look down on German engineering quality. Overrated and overhyped brands. Money pit at best. Yeh the acoustic, aesthetic design looks fantastic on face value but buy them at your own risks. Over use of plastic, cheap aluminum materials kills every men joy and pride of owning this bmw, audi and benze
whats stopping these Chinese EVs entering the Australian market? Isnt the point of competition is to bring down prices? Is it more of a geopoltical issue? The Govt wouldnt have to worry about a EV rebate if it lets the market run its course. I feel like Hyundai/Tesla are paying the Govt to keep the competition out🤔

Dolphin in uk will sadly get beached here. Wont be a seller.The seal has a decent chance as a tesla sqeezer , the big grill people carrier has got fareast taxi written all over it. Mg marvel will have to well undercut pricewise our other imported small to medium size ev suv sector to make a decent uk footprint , the yo-yo, you think you would be cool driving it in Oz , do me a favour its hideous

They all use Chinese batteries. What are they installed here? Tesla also uses Chinese batteries.
