Why not? I mean if he did kill the enemy(which is hard in that spot with glock) you wouldn't say that. Ofc it's a hard angle to take against usp but maybe it wouldn't be that bad if they peeked it with two players. And of course he knew it's a hard situation, I believe he did know/still knows more about CS than you or me. :) It's like somewhen you just have to take that 1on1 or 1on2 even if it's s bad situation for you.

In 1.6 the charcter models move alot faster so you can repeek angles its alot more aim based i think

sha den even delpan can make bad decisions.. He had a usp not glock and just went for it, dont over analyze
