If they hadn't went back in time (to the 80s) & changed things, especially by exposing the future, then the great Dusty Rhodes would have been president of the U.S.A. as they said in other interviews. It would have been so cool to hear the pres always come out to "American Dream" theme song instead of "Hail to the Chief".

The car accident broke Champion up pretty good and really derailed their momentum as a team. They should have been one of the great teams of that era, but Royal got sick of the travel and decided to quit the business. They were over indeed with the fans. "What might have been" is a good summary....

Ricky Beaumont: I doubt Vince would've let them stick together. He notoriously hates tag-teams. Especially ones with tag-team skill. I think Royal and Champion could've both have been successful single stars but they also had that "gel" when they worked as a tag.
