I had a 78 LTD 4 dr. beater for $500.00 in 1988. I loved the comfort and ride of the car. I got bumped off the road and picked off a utility pole at about 30 mph. I had my seatbelt on and I walked away with literally a scratch. Beautiful and safe cars.
I could get this in evergreen green color man oh man i'd think about buying...was my first car in 1988. The 78 Chevy Nova was my second car which was much more reliable by far but the nostalgia of the LTD still gets to me.
even with the minor nicks, the paint will pop with a good compound buff and polish. Had a white 73 4 door with the same brown top and the paint shined after a good buff out. Great find.
Yes please keep it coming with the 70s, I love a big land yacht from GM, and then ford too, as well as chrysler please keep them coming, anything from 1972 to 1981 is the best, and then very much preferred thank you unique classic cars for providing us with such awesome 70s cars
Are all your vehicles on consignment? If not, why doesn't any fix anything before they sell it. That car is so nice with super low miles but they can't replace the hood ornamet or buff the paint back to luster??? You're paying 3 times the going rate this car would normally bring but they don't want to fix any of the necessary items to make them perfect.
Some vehicles are on consignment -- if the owner doesn't want to fix certain things, and we can't persuade them, then it gets sold as-is. If it's safety related it will be addressed, anything else is up to the owner. Appreciate the comment!
These used to be seen all over the roads in the 70's. They were a comfortable cruiser and a great seller for Ford
Had new in 1977. Two door. White on blue. A outstanding car." Ford job one"

My dad had one of these in '91, when I was 10. I had a friend help me clean the entire exterior with Windex and paper towels as a treat to him.
Beautiful car

Real Beauty
Does this have a 351M or 351W?
Nice car, but had to raise a brow on this one.
A very nice survivor.
The 351 makes this a dog
😍😍😍
Same car that Barnaby Jones drove, if Buddy Epsen was still around he would have made an offer on this classic.
He drove the two door one, which looked cool. But this was the one they used on The Streets Of San Francisco.

The car that thinks it's a house, or the house that thinks it's a car. Take your pick.
Bet that car was about $6,000.00 brand new in 77! I would watch throwing that old girl into a corner too fast or your will do a 360!
Don't make them as solid as these anymore!
YUUUUUUUUK
After 69', LTD just lost its luster appeal, inside and out.
