Exactly! What a great idea! James Bond 25 movie, offering the audience watching the new movie with live orchestra on stage! Would give my life to be there!😂😂
I went to this - it was absolutely amazing. The Royal Albert hall does a few of these per year, with a live orchestra/singers playing the film score. We had tickets for ‘Titanic’ in May 2020.... sadly, it was cancelled along with everything else. The amazing thing is, it’s done so well, you end up watching the screen and completely forgetting there’s a live orchestra at the foot of the screen!
I was there for this. There were two showings so if it was the same one I'm probably in this shot (the back of my head at least) on the front row of the tier this was filmed from. Chris Cornell was supposed to come and do the vocal live apparently but he passed away a few weeks before if memory serves me correctly. Also saw Empire Strikes Back and ET at the Albert Hall live Orchestra events. Top Notch.
Be really funny if the sound went off on the film and all the orchestra were really doing was just miming!!When the big kettle drums for the big beat at the start, notice how the person on the kettle drums hardly touches the drums!!
Is this one of this screenings of movies where the orchestra play the score in the background; because my drama teacher said they did that with Harry Potter
It is! The Royal Albert Hall does several of these per year - this year they have Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, but they may announce more films during the year. Keep checking the RAH site - it’s such a fantastic event, if you get to go (I recommend seats in the Rausing Circle, as central to the screen as you can).
That is the Royal Albert Hall, located on London. And believe it or not, the man who is conducting is David Arnold, known for scoring 5 films of 007: "Tomorrow Never Dies", " The World is Not Enough", "Die Another Day", "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace"
Absolutely not. I went to this, and there’s no mistaking the feeling in your gut of a live orchestra playing! Plus, if you know the film score well enough, you can hear the tiny differences between the recorded and live versions. I hope they show this one again, it was fantastic.
The opening gun barrel for this movie is superbly done

I think it's the best opening gun barrel ever.

Just Great! Thanks for video!
It's feels a shame you can't applaud the orchestra.

Nope, you can hear it in the second part of You Know My Name. At least I can tell the difference, I am 100% sure.
