Comedy has never been about who is funny. It is about selling personalities, the jokes come with the act. Fast forward to today there is a 300% growth in humans since the late 1970s so sure, the game changed. It will never return just like people ain't buying model Ts anymore. Old humor is not interesting to anyone but old people and old people do not go out after 8pm. My business is modeled to profit because I run a happy hour show then the 7pm show begins. A comic can get paid twice in my spot and I learned it in Canada. America has a lower standard of humor which is why these people are fighting instead of building their business.
Just because people don't buy cars like they use to because of public transportation has increased with trains and more public ways to get around doesn't mean that having a car isn't better just because people do thing different doesn't mean it's better the primitive man was smarter than the man today he could hunt fish build grow his own food he could look up in the sky and tell what was going to happen without colleges he was a inventor and invented most things we enjoy today modern isn't better you cut off computers people would be lost today so tell me what was better

Secondly: Funny is subjective just as anything in life. What is good to you might not be good to someone else. Ya had natural things to warn you of danger. Now we are dependent on technology and convenience. I so agree. My grandmother told my first BF in 8th grade "Boy why your nose open for my grandaughter? We looked at each other like WTF is this old lady saying. I learned she was on to something and it took almost 2 hours to understand pharamones and natural scents attracting males to my hot fire cootch. I had no idea but I ran to her to learn more. I mean the devices were using to have this convo and the phones and them goodies were invented and created by people who quit college. They didn't need it because they had a better path. Lots of people think college is about landing a good job or making a lot of money. Thats is not nor has ever been the goal. It was to pursue interests and grow as a person. I grow my own cabbage, tomatoes, collards and weed. Thats all Grandmom taught me lol
